On 12 Apr 07 Kathy L. Edwards, age 47, 836 Pike Street Apt. 4, Marietta, reported she believes an acquaintance that came to her apartment under the guise of changing for work stole four prescriptions and $20 from her purse. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 12 Apr 07 Carl J. Lafatch, age 37, 1944 Briggs Hill Road, Belpre, reported his Remington twelve gauge shotgun was stolen and possibly pawned during the past two days. Following an investigation Deputy Sheriff Evans determined the gun was taken and sold by Mr. Latch’s wife. Deputy Evans concluded the gun was communal property so no crime occurred.

On 12 Apr 2007 the Washington County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit arrested Randy J. Scott, age 44, 308 Sixth Street, Apartment C, Marietta, OH for complicity. The Narcotics Unit had been investigating complaints of a possible crack house operating in the area. An undercover operative entered the residence and purchased a gram of crack cocaine. Randy Scott participated and assisted in the drug transaction by acting as a lookout during the proceedings. This investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.

Anthony R. Franks, age 20, 53 Holiday Drive, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $448.50.

Roy L. Gohr, age 20, 929 Melrose Boulevard, Pickerington, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $449.80.

John Holcomb, age 37, 704 Butler Street, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,232.65.

Joshua T. Jenkins, 301 Hill Street, Friendly, WV, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $786.50.

Ashanti R. Johnson, age 19, 227 North Stout Street, Harrisville, WV, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $318.50.

Jeffrey J. Johnson, age 34, 51826 Rice Run Road, Reedsville, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $175.50.

Gretchen A. Mace, age 21, 18001 State Route 676, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $572.

Bernard Moore, age 42, 3650 Center Avenue Apt. 203, Pittsburgh, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $240.50.

Gurmel L. McDonald, age 19, 405 13th Street Apt. C, Parkersburg, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $318.50.

Brent J. McKinney, age 33, 119 ½ Warner Street, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $305.50.

Amy J. McVay, age 26, 1046 ½ 24th Street, Parkersburg, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $175.50.

Keith A. Nibert, age 45, 211 Center Street, Waterford, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $175.50.

Michelle R. Oldfield, age 40, 24700 State Route 7, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $669.50.

Catherine A. Reeves, age 58, 708 East Eighth Street, Williamstown, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $461.50.

Carolyn Spencer, age 20, 2289 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $175.50.

Paul D. Snyder, age 27, 119 Willowbrook Drive, Parkersburg, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $286.

Ira T. Tabler, age 42, State Route 329, Sharpsburg, OH, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $356.20.

Jeriah C. Taylor, age 24, 310 9 ½ Street, Parkersburg, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $298.50.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Donald Lee Sears, age 47, 1109 Andrew Street, Parkersburg, for theft, a felony. Sears was picked up at the North Central Regional Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 07 at 10:50 am.

Michael Craig Storer, age 35, Swift Road, Waterford, for speeding and for operating without or with an expired license, both misdemeanors. Storer was arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 07 at 11:56 am.

Robert Joseph Perry, age 37, 475 Anderson Road, Lowell, for felonious assault. Perry was picked up at the North County Jail by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 07 at 12:27 pm.

Timothy Scott Mackey, age 26, 1247 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Mackey was arrested at his residence by Detective Parks of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 07 at 2:09 pm.

Serena Fawn Biehl, age 30, 1348 Masonic Park Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Biehl was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Apr 07 at 2:50 pm.
