On 9 Apr 07 Deputies responded to the scene
of death of a four month old Waterford boy. Though the infant’s
death does not appear suspicious, this case remains under investigation
(597, 953, 1090, 1091, 1190).
On 9 Apr 07 Gerald L. Hayes, age 40, 105 Devol
Street, Marietta, reported a trail camera and solar panel were
stolen from the tree on which he mounted them 200 yards behind
a friend’s residence at 2779 Waterford Road. This case
remains under investigation (232).
On 9 Apr 07 Deputy Sheriff Sirianni requested
a summons for a fifteen year old Marietta resident to appear
in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The juvenile’s mother
phoned the Sheriff’s Office to report she and her daughter
engaged in a shoving match after the teenager refused to complete
outdoor chores.
On 9 Apr 07 Patty Patton, age 52, 119 Indiana
Avenue, Marietta, reported between 2 and 3 am that morning
an unknown suspect(s) threw a cinder block through the rear
window of her son’s Mercury Sable. This case remains
under investigation (501).
On 9 Apr 07 Brian T. Hopkins, age 37, 3373
Lake Road, Vincent, reported between 6:30 and 7:30 that evening
an unknown individual driving a rusty white pickup truck stole
six rolls of insulation from the vacant home he owns and he
is remodeling at 3401 Lake Road. This case remains under investigation
(232).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Carol L. Alsept, age 46, 3570 Oak Hill Road,
Cutler, for an act of domestic violence committed on 15 Mar
07.
Paul D. Collier, age 43, 445 Gosfork Road, Whipple, for driving
under a suspended license on 25 Dec 06.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jamar Keith Mattox, age 25, 2550 Burgess Avenue
Apt. D, Columbus, for felony charges of obstructing justice
and trafficking in drugs and misdemeanor charges of possession
of drugs, driving under a suspended license and driving without
license plates. Mattox was arrested on State Route 26 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Apr 07 at 1:36 am.
James Scott Walraven, age 30, 805 State Route
124, Coolville, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Walraven
turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Sirianni and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 9 Apr 07 at 12:02 pm.
Michael Joseph Littleton, age 19, 119 Muskingum Drive, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Littleton
was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Patrolman Heddleston
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 9 Apr 07 at 1:15 pm.
