On 3 Apr 07 an employee of the Pit Stop, 3355
State Route 821, Marietta, reported between 16 and 23 Jan 07
the business received from the same individual, eight bad checks
totaling $446.02. Additionally, another suspect issued nine
bad checks to the business between 23 and 28 Jan 07 totaling
$1,053.75. These cases remain under investigation (8411).
On 3 Apr 07 Delicia D. Davis, age 33, 1308
Williamson Avenue Apt. 3D, New Matamoras, reported her DVD
player and her prescriptions for Vicodin and Xanax were stolen
during the two hours she was away from her residence the previous
evening. These cases remain under investigation (684).
On 3 Apr 07 Dennis A. Rhodes, age 42, 1001
Tower Road, Little Hocking, reported sometime since 29 Mar
when he and his wife were away, an unknown suspect entered
their home through an unlocked sliding glass door and stole
a .357 revolver, two muzzleloaders, twenty and sixteen gauge
shotguns and a 30-30 rifle. These cases remain under investigation
(232).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Michael E. Hoffert, age 24, 161 Wells Avenue,
Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,343.50.
Marcus M. Kimbrough, age 18, 402 Mulberry Street, Marietta,
for contempt of court for failing to appear to serve thirty
days in jail on 26 Mar 07.
The following
individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Wesley Franklin Warrener, age 40, 849 Greene
Street, Marietta, for nonsupport of dependants, a misdemeanor.
Warrener turned himself in to Captain Ketelsen and was processed
into the Washington County Jail on 3 Apr 07 at 9:06 am.
Deidra Michelle Wriston, age 26, 95 Lang Farm Road, Marietta,
for driving under an OVI suspended license and for having a
defective exhaust, both misdemeanors. Wriston was arrested
on State Route 26 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 3 Apr 07 at 7:17 pm.
Robert Edward Carpenter, age 33, 2665 Mill Fork Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, for driving under
an OVI suspended license, for having a defective exhaust and
for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Carpenter was
arrested on State Route 26 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Apr 07 at
7:20 pm.
