On 29 Mar 07 Pat Jacobsen, age 26, 1194 Warren Chapel Road, Fleming, reported since 1999 an unknown suspect in Illinois has used his personal information to accrue over $20,000 in various phone, medical and utility charges. This case remains under investigation (8411).

On 29 Mar 07 Steven L. Brown, age 51, 1140 Browns Road, Marietta, reported sometime over the last two days his temporary license plate, tag number N119532, was stolen off his vehicle. This case remains under investigation (1203).

On 29 Mar 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans responded to the scene of death of a fifty-four year old Lowell resident. The man’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.

On 29 Mar 07 John Horner, age 44, 5881 Veto Road, Belpre, reported between 8 pm the previous night and 6 am that morning the catalytic converter was cut off his Toyota Tacoma. This case remains under investigation (501).

On 29 Mar 07 Deputy Sheriff Sirianni issued a citation to Raymond E. Campbell, age 24, 1108 Lockwood Street, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Sirianni stopped Mr. Campbell on Barnett Ridge Road near Veto Road in Dunham Township.

On 29 Mar 07 Frances Winstanley, age 30, 335 Rummer Road, Marietta, reported her former husband, who lives with his mother and against whom she has a protection order, screamed obscenities at her while she spoke on the phone with her former mother in law, a violation of the protection order. This case remains under investigation (501).

On 29 Mar 07 a seventy-nine year old Marietta resident reported for the past three months he was been receiving an average of three harassing phone calls from a number unidentified by his caller ID. This case remains under investigation (501).

On 29 Mar 07 the owner of Norm’s Auto Care, 10500 State Route 550, Vincent, reported sometime since he left the business at 6 pm the previous evening a catalytic converter was cut off a Toyota 4Runner parked outside the business’ garage. This case remains under investigation (501).

the Sheriff’s Office received the following warrants:

Jeffrey E. Taylor, age 44, 209 Jet Star Road, Hockingport, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of completing forty-five hours of community service or to appear to serve three days in jail.

Daniel P. Williams, age 19, 1091 State Route 339, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of completing forty-five hours of community service or to appear to serve ten days in jail.

Shawn H. Farnsworth, age 34, 10825 Highland Ridge Road, Macksburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show proof of obtaining a valid operator’s license or to appear to serve ten days in jail.

Robert J. Cline, age 25, 1043 State Route 339, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to maintain contact with his probation officer and for failing to show proof of attendance of or of completing counseling.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Nicholas Edward Cook, age 21, 705 31st Street, Parkersburg, for operating a vehicle without a license, a misdemeanor. Cook was arrested at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Mar 07 at 2:15 am.

Elizabeth May Bumgarner, age 18, 547 Sixth Street, Parkersburg, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Bumgarner was arrested at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Mar 07 at 3:10 am.

Eric Michael Hoffert, age 24, 161 Wells Avenue, Marietta, for OVI, operating a vehicle without a license and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Hoffert was arrested on Seventh Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Mar 07 at 3:50 am.

Emmanuel Lopez Rameriez, age 35, 1100 12th Street Apt. 6, for OVI, operating without a license and for failure to yield at a flashing signal, all misdemeanors. Rameriez was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Mar 07 at 4:20 am.

Danielle Marie Campbell, age 21, 3513 12th Avenue, Vienna, for passing bad checks, a misdemeanor. Campbell was arrested on Barnett Ridge Road by Deputy Sheriff Sirianni and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Mar 07 at 3:30 pm.

Kody Byron Newbanks, age 21, 2657 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Newbanks was arrested on State Route Seven by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29 Mar 07 at 5:05 pm.
