On 26 Mar 07 the owner of Anderson Drilling,
14233 State Route 550, Fleming, reported overnight an unknown
suspect(s) cut the catalytic converters off two of his business’ Toyota
work trucks that were parked twenty yards from his residence.
This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 26 Mar 07 Sgt. Gherke requested a summons
for a seventeen year old Cutler resident to appear in Juvenile
Court for being delinquent. The teenager, a Warren High School
Student, was observed pushing and pulling the hair of another
female student in retaliation for allegedly insulting two of
the suspect’s family members.
On 26 Mar 07 Mary R. Stull, age 44, 100 Grand
Avenue, Marietta, reported while she worked during the day
shift at the Duke and Duchess in Lowell an unknown suspect(s)
stole the Jensen CD player from her unlocked vehicle. This
case remains under investigation (232).
On 26 Mar 07 Grace C. Karna, age 83, 120 Back
Road, Macksburg, reported between the afternoons of 22 and
24 Mar 07 a tireless wheelbarrow and a steel drum were stolen
from outside her garage. This case remains under investigation
(232).
On 26 Mar 07 the owner of Cunningham Scrap,
10770 State Route 550, Barlow, reported between 6 pm the previous
evening and 6 am that morning ten catalytic converters were
stolen from a pile of scrap on the business’ property.
This case remains under investigation (586).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Anthony R. Frank, age 20, 53 Holiday Drive,
Vienna, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to show proof of completing twenty-four hours of community
service or to serve three days in jail.
Ashanti R. Johnston, age 19, 227 North South Stout Street,
Harrisville, WV, for violating the terms of her probation by
failing to show proof of completing twenty-four hours of community
service or to serve three days in jail.
Megan D. Meeks, age 26, 600 Mount Tom Road, Marietta, for
violating the terms of her probation by failing to pay $440
in restitution.
Gurmel L. McDonald, age 19, 405 13th Street Apt. C, Parkersburg,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show
proof of completing twenty-four hours of community service
or to serve three days in jail.
Jimmy L. Smith, age 39, 255 Highland Ridge Road, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show
proof of obtaining a valid operator’s license or to serve
thirty days in jail.
James D. Warner, age 25, 608 ½ Second Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show
proof of completing a seventy-two hour driver’s intervention
program and for failing to show proof of attending or completing
counseling.
The following
individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:
Catherine W. Morris, age 41, 312 ½ Sixth
Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation,
a felony. Morris was arrested at the courthouse by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 26 Mar 07 at 9:00 am.
