On 11 Mar 07 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a citation to Michael L. Hess, age 29, 4317 US Highway 235, Chillicothe, for traveling 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Hess near milepost seven on State Route 60 in Muskingum Township.

The following individuals wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Ashley Ann Barcelli, age 22, 312 Third Street Apt. 3, Lowell, for a felony charge of assaulting a police officer and a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct by intoxication. Barcelli was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Mar 07 at 12:53 am.
