On 8 Mar 07 Deputy Sheriff Spencer issued
a citation to Justin A. Hughes, age 28, 4090 Neil Street Apt.
1, Belpre, for driving under an FRA suspended license. Deputy
Spencer stopped Mr. Hughes on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner
Road in Belpre Township.
On 8 Mar 07 Reeda Nichols, age 80, 263 Second
Street, Vincent, reported sometime during the past three weeks
an unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered a vacant property at
7866 State Route 550. At this time no items were reported missing.
This case remains under investigation (586).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
James O. Long, age 29, 710 Montgomery Street,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to pay
restitution and to maintain contact with his probation officer.
Venson E. Moore III, age 30, 631 Seventh Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to appear
for a scheduled appointment and for failing to appear to serve
seven days in jail on 12 Feb 07.
Jason A. Wilcosky, age 24, 664 Tauton Drive, Berea, OH, for
failing to appear to serve three days in jail on 2 and 26 Feb
07 and for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to show proof of completing a driver’s intervention program.
Stephen M. Cassell, age 27, 5611 Gender Road, Canal Winchester,
OH, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to
show proof of insurance or obtaining a valid operator’s
license and for failing to appear to serve three days in jail
on 18 Dec 06.
Michael J. Littleton, age 19, 119 Muskingum Drive, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to show
proof of completing twenty-four hours of community service
or to serve three days in jail on 12 Jan 07.
Angel B. Jackson, age 24, 8 Sixth Street, Belpre, for violating
the terms of her probation by failing to show proof of completing
twenty-four hours of community service or to serve three days
in jail on 18 Dec 06.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Justin Ambler Hughes, age 28, 148 Woodland
Avenue, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license,
a misdemeanor. Hughes was arrested on State Route 7 in Belpre
by Deputy Sheriff Spencer and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Mar 07 at 8:10 am.
Fannie Sarah Kovacs, age 26, 902 Fourth Street,
Marietta, for a felony charge of violating the terms of her
probation and misdemeanor charges of with an expired license,
failure to control, obstructing official business and not wearing
a seat belt. Kovacs was arrested near milepost six on State
Route 26 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 8 Mar 07 at 5:15 pm.
Charles David Goddard, age 41, 1271 Dogwood Ridge, Wheelersburg,
OH, for driving under a suspended license and speeding, both
misdemeanors. Goddard was arrested near milepost forty-one
on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Mar 07 at 7:00 pm.
Peggy Ellen Chidester, age 61, 470 Cornerville Road, Reno,
or felony and misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs. Chidester
was arrested in Devola by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Mar 07 at 8:35 pm.
Mona Crystal Chesnutt, age 47, 12020 Waterford Road, Waterford,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Chesnutt
was arrested at the Norwood Tavern in Marietta by Probation
Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 8 Mar 07 at 9:05 pm.
