On 26 Feb 07 Keith Larsen, age 43, 847 Lynch Church Road, Marietta, reported in Dec 06 an unknown individual in Grove City, OH used his social security number to open an account with AEP. The account has since been closed after accruing $140.33 in charges. This case remains under investigation (8411).

On 26 Feb 07 the owner of Tunnell Mini-Storage, Blue Knob Road, Marietta, reported the locks of several storage units have been cut off since the first of the month. The owner indicated the only item missing at this time is a work ladder, though he would ask his renters if any of their property is missing. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 26 Feb 07 Paula J. Ryder, age 42, 107 Doris Avenue, Marietta, reported the license plate off her camper stored at Marietta RV on Starlite Drive, Marietta, was stolen sometime since 2 Feb 07. This case remains under investigation (1184).

FATHER CHARGED FOR SEXUALLY ASSAULTING DAUGHTERS

On 26 Feb 07 Detective Smithberger began investigating a complaint involving a possible sexual assault incident involving two girls and their biological father. One of the victims, a seventeen year old, disclosed that her father, Ronald E. Evans Jr., age 37, 8800 State Route 821, Lower Salem, touched her in her vaginal area when she was nine years of age until she was thirteen years old. She also indicated her father had her watch pornographic videos and would commit various acts during these films. Mr. Evans then told his daughter if she told anyone about these incidents he would have to go to jail and he would get his gun, come to her room and shoot himself in the head. Similarly, the second fourteen year old victim stated her father sexually abused her in the same manner on one occasion in the summer of 2006. Again, Mr. Evans threatened he would shoot himself in front of her if she told anyone.

Interviewed by Detectives Schuck and Smithberger, Mr. Evans admitted sexually assaulting the fourteen year old within the last five months, stating he knew what he had done was wrong and that he should not have done this. Mr. Evans further admitted touching his older daughter in her vaginal area watching pornographic videos with her, though he could not recall how many times these incidents took place. Furthermore, Mr. Evans confessed to telling both of his daughters that if they told anyone about his behavior he would shoot himself in the head in front of them.

Mr. Evans was arrested, charged with felony counts of rape and sexual battery and transported to the Washington County Jail. He is being held without bond pending his initial court appearance.

John H. Rivers, age 45, 27 North 10th Street, Darby, PA, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $318.50.

Sara Pate, age 19, 8329 State Route 555, Chesterhill, for failing to appear for jury trial on 20 Feb 07.

Victoria E. Colletti, age 42, 1915 Floral Avenue, Columbus, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 6 Feb 07.

Charles W. Loy Jr., age 33, 815 Grandview Avenue, New Matamoras, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 12 Feb 07.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

David Allen Sayres, age 42, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Sayres was arrested on Gilman Avenue in Marietta by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 7:36 am.

Thomas Ira Valentine, age 24, 114 Sunset Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Valentine was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 9:10 am.

John Wesley Hoy, age 29, 906 Fifth Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Hoy was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Brockmeier and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 9:29 am.

Noal Damiona Quattlebaum, age 20, 2901 Wells Road, Waterford, for possession of criminal tools, a misdemeanor. Quattlebaum was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 11:28 am.

Eric Ellis Luke, age 20, 309 Lord Street, Marietta, for possession of criminal tools and contempt, both misdemeanors. Luke was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 11:53 am.

Jeffrey Lee Ingram, age 27, 711 Clement Avenue, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Ingram was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gault and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 12:13 pm.

Jessica Joyce McCann, age 32, 4815 Route 303, Richfield, OH, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for speeding, both misdemeanors. McCann was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 7:19 pm.

Jason Scott Romine, age 35, 3901 Woodleigh Avenue NW, Canton, for consuming alcohol in a vehicle and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Romine was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 7:23 pm.

Ronald Eugene Evans, age 37, 8800 State Route 821, Lower Salem, for sexual battery and rape, both felonies. Evans was arrested at the Sheriff’s Office by Detective Smithberger and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 8:52 pm.

Joshua Stephen Schadd, age 26, 1127 Sand Ridge Road, Waterford, for operating with an expired license, for obstructing official business, not wearing a seat belt and for not having license plates, all misdemeanors. Schadd was arrested on Waterford Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Feb 07 at 9:40 pm.
