On 23 Feb 07 a forty-two year old Marietta
resident reported his seventeen year old daughter regularly
skips school, fails to obey house rules and leaves the home
without permission. The father also stated his daughter maintains
a relationship with her nineteen year old boyfriend against
her parents’ wishes and once hid him in her closet overnight.
As a result, Deputy Sheriff Collins requested a summons for
the juvenile to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly.
On 23 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks requested
a summons for a seventeen year old Coolville resident to appear
in Juvenile Court for being delinquent. A passenger in a vehicle
stopped for a loud muffler, the juvenile was found in possession
of a marijuana cigarette in his pocket.
On 23 Feb 07 James H. Ball, age 59, 540 Tabor
Ridge Road, Stockport, reported upon being wakened by his dog
barking, he observed to individuals running from his detached
garage. No items were missing, though Mr. Ball stated air was
released from one of his truck tires. Mr. Ball declined to
pursue the matter further, only wanting the incident on record
(1293).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Shane L. Goins, age 30, Orient, OH, for failing
to appear for arraignment on 5 Jul 06.
Ryan Adams, age 20, 801 Pomeroy Pike, Belpre, for failing
to appear for sentencing on a charge of breaking and entering
on 15 Feb 07.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Shawn Harold Miller, age 36, 609 ½ Florence
Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation, a
misdemeanor. Miller was arrested on State Route 26 in Marietta
by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 07
at 1:23 am.
Sheldon Dwight Hill, age 24, 11776 State Route
555, Cutler, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines and for nonsupport of dependants, both misdemeanors.
Hill was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 07
at 11:10 am.
Darren Michael Edwards, age 40, 17991 State Route 26, Reno,
for a felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor
charge of disorderly conduct. Edwards was arrested in Marietta
by Patrolman McClelland of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Feb 07
at 3:35 pm.
Adam Joseph Trus, age 29, PO Box 1, Watertown, for two misdemeanor
counts of failure to appear. Trus was arrested at Allman’s
Auto by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 23 Feb 07 at 3:45 pm.
