On 13 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued
a citation to Robert L. Hysell Jr., age 23, 34 Blennerhassett
Avenue Lot 5, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license.
Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Hysell on Washington Boulevard near
Walnut Street in Belpre. Also as a result of the stop, Deputy
Smeeks requested a summons for Cory D. McCullors, age 19, 1604
Hill Street Apt. 18, Belpre, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
After an exterior canine search indicated the presence of drugs
Deputy Smeeks discovered a marijuana pipe fashioned from aluminum
foil. Mr. McCullors admitted he recently used the instrument
to smoke marijuana.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Mark Joshua Throener, age 25, 151 Estate Drive, Statesville,
NC, for operating without a license and without plates, both
misdemeanors. Throener was arrested near milepost four on Interstate
77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 07 at 1:56 am.
Brandon Wayne Abram, age 19, 266 Muskingum Drive, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Abram turned himself in to Patrolman
McCracken at the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 07 at 2:45 am.
Emily Brooke Knotts, age 29, 628 Phillips
Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of her parole, a
felony. Knotts was arrested in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 13
Feb 07 at 10:15 am.
Cornell Lamar Meyers, age 41, 902 Fourth Street, Marietta,
for felonious assault. Meyers was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 07 at 12:00 pm.
Fannie Sarah Kovacs, age 26, 902 Fourth Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a felony. Kovacs
was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Gault and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 13 Feb 07 at 4:35 pm.
