On 12 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Mankins responded to a call from Wesley F. Gibson, age 72, 836 Pike Street, Apartment 3, Marietta, OH concerning he had been assaulted by David A. Sayres, age 42, address unknown. Sayres was visiting Gibson’s apartment and became upset when Gibson changed the channels on the TV. Sayres struck Gibson with his fists and a coffee cup. A warrant for assault has been requested for Sayres.

On 12 Feb 07 Krisjan Vanwey, age 38, 395 Watertown Road, Waterford, reported sometime during the past week an unknown suspect(s) stole 200 foot roll of copper wire with ground clamps, two copper lugs and a welding stinger were stolen from his welding rig next to his home. This case remains under investigation (1203).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Roger Wayne Dalrymple, age 45, 101 Randolph Road, Marietta, for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Dalrymple was arrested on Putnam Street in Marietta by Sgt. Gherke of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 07 at 9:37 am.

Ronald Lindsey Cox, age 53, 240 Fourth Street, Friendship, OH, for speeding and operating a motor vehicle while under suspension, both misdemeanors. Cox was arrested near the county line by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 07 at 1:12 pm.

David Allen Sayres, age 42, 836 Pike Street, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Sayres was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 07 at 4:45 pm.

Elizabeth Ann Hamilton, age 25, 1215 State Route 339, Belpre, for being a fugitive from justice. Hamilton was arrested on Washington Boulevard in Belpre by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Feb 07 at 7:29 pm.
