On 11 Feb 07 Deputy Staats charged Gurmel
Lyman McDonald, age 18, 405 13th Street, Apartment 6, Parkersburg,
WV for traveling 70 in a 55 mph zone on State Route 7 near
Milepost 17.
On 11 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Norman responded
to a call from John Lehman, age 55, 925 Stanleyville Narrows,
Whipple, Oh concerning his neighbor Larry C. Knoch, age 65,
835 Stanleyville Narrows Road, Whipple was firing a high powered
rifle in his direction. Knoch was issued a summons for Disorderly
Conduct.
On 11 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans stopped
a vehicle being driven by Tina C. Mullis, age 29, 1008 Third
Street, Marietta after observing her make a turn onto Harmer
Street from Virginia Street without using a turn signal. Mullis
was unable to perform field sobriety tests and smelled strongly
of an alcoholic beverage. Mullis also had in her possession
nine (9) Xanax pills in a small tin box which she stated had
been given to her by a friend. Mullis was charged with operating
a motor vehicle while under the influence and possession of
drugs. She was transported to the Washington County Jail and
incarcerated.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Tina Crystal Mullis, age 28, 240 Country Ridge Road, Rockwell,
NC, for OVI and possession of drugs, both misdemeanors. Mullis
was arrested on Harmar Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff
Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb
07 at 2:51 am.
Clint Houston Butler, age 36, 8629 Dalzell Road, Lower Salem,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Butler was arrested on Dalzell Road by
Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 11 Feb 07 at 10:47 am.
Steven Thomas Hupp, age 36, 108 Seneca Drive, Marietta, for
felony charges of aggravated burglary and OVI and a misdemeanor
charge of driving under a suspended license. Hupp was arrested
on State Route 60 in Devola by Deputy Sheriff Norman and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 11 Feb 07 at 8:26 pm.
Ronald Duane Ruckman, Sr. age 51, 44730 Sugartree Road, Woodsfield,
for OVI and for driving outside the marked lanes of travel,
both misdemeanors. Ruckman was arrested on Interstate 77 by
the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 11 Feb 07 at 9:55 am.
