On 9 Feb 07 Deputy Reynolds charged Howard
C. Bailey, age 18, 2548 Barnett Ridge Road, Fleming, OH with
failure to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of US
50 and Arrowhead Road.
On 9 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Reynolds charged
Norberto Rosas Mejia, age 35, 58 Berkeley Drive, Athens, OH
with failure to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of
US 50 and Arrowhead Road.
On 9 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Sgt. Hiatt charged
Christopher D. Oblander, age 22, Medina, OH for traveling 75
in a 55 mph zone on SR 7 near Bramblewood Heights.
On 9 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans charged Charity
J. Schewker, age 20, 95 Dale Avenue, Strasburg, OH for traveling
77 in a 55 mph zone on SR 7 near MP 13.
On 9 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Malone responded
to a call from Brenton Lemasters, age 26, 20 Orchard Stacey
Road, Marietta, OH concerning his ex girlfriend Jody Wright,
age 27, 1440 Reynolds Run Road, New Matamoras, OH had taken
their child and refused to return him per the court’s
visitation order. Jody Wright was arrested for Interference
with Custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
On 9 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Evans stopped a
vehicle being driven by Mark E. Parker, age 53, 1141 Clement
Avenue, Belpre after observing his vehicle being operated in
an erratic manner on State Route 7 near Briggs Hill Road. Parker
smelled strongly of an alcoholic beverage and was unable to
perform field sobriety tests. Parker refused to take the BAC.
He was charged with operating a vehicle while under suspension
and under the influence of alcohol. He was transported to the
Washington County Jail and incarcerated.
On 9 Feb 07 the Sheriff’s Office received
a call from Deidra M. Wriston, age 25, 95 Lang Farm Road, Marietta
concerning her boyfriend Robert E. Carpenter, age 32, 2665
Millfork Road, Marietta had taken her vehicle without permission
and was driving it while under the influence of alcohol. Carpenter
was stopped at the intersection of Gilman Avenue and Groves
Street by Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and charged with operating
a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and his
sixth (6) offense of driving while under suspension. Carpenter
was transported to the Washington County Jail and incarcerated.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jessica Lynn Stevens, age 25, 704 Elm Street,
Belpre, for driving under an FRA suspended license, speeding
and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Stevens
was arrested near milepost fifteen on State Route 60 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Feb 07 at 2:35 am.
Shawn Norman Bonar, age 30, 1363 Layman Road,
Vincent, for violating the terms of his probation and for contempt
of a court order, both misdemeanors. Bonar was arrested at
Cunningham Recycling by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 9 Feb 07 at 10:30 am.
William Wayne Rivera, age 27, 20360 State Route 60, Beverly,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Rivera was arrested at his residence
by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 9 Feb 07 at 1:35 pm.
Jody Lynn Wright, age 27, 690 Wade Cemetery Road, New Matamoras,
for interference with custody, a felony. Wright was arrested
in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 9 Feb 07 at 3:45 pm.
Robert Edward Carpenter, age 32, 2665 Mill Fork Road, Marietta,
for OVI and for driving under a suspended license, both misdemeanors.
Carpenter was arrested on Groves Avenue in Marietta by Deputy
Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 9 Feb 07 at 10:45 pm.
Mark Emmett Parker, age 53, 1141 Clement Avenue, Belpre, for
OVI and for driving under an OVI suspended license, both misdemeanors.
Parker was arrested near milepost twelve on State Route 7 by
Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 9 Feb 07 at 11:55 pm.
