On 3 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a citation to Amy M. Rittenhouse, age 18, 72 Teri Lane, Little Hocking, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped Ms. Rittenhouse on State Route 7 near milepost fifteen in Warren Township.

On 3 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Reynolds issued a citation to Sarah E. Forinash, age 20, 521 ½ Third Street, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license. Deputy Reynolds stopped Ms. Forinash near the intersection of Second and Putnam Streets in Marietta.

On 3 Feb 07 Daniel K. Armistead, age 45, 306 Putnam Avenue, Marietta, reported $165 in cash was stolen from his vehicle after he and a friend drove two females from the Four Seasons to Sierra Apartments for a romantic interlude. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 3 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested Anthony R. Frank, age 20, 53 Holiday Drive, Vienna, Gurmel L. McDonald, age 19, 405 13th Street Apt. C, Parkersburg, and Ashanti R. Johnson, age 19, 227 Stout Street, Harrisville, WV, for underage consumption of alcohol. Stopping the suspects’ vehicle for not using a turn signal, Deputy Mankins noticed an odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. All three admitted consuming alcohol at the Locker Room, with Mr. Frank stating he did so legally because he was twenty-one. However, Deputy Mankins determined Mr. Frank was twenty years old and additionally charged him with obstructing official business.

On 3 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriffs Reynolds, Rhodes and Staats conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle without taillights at the intersection of Pike and Acme Streets. Deputy Rhodes identified one passenger as Anthony R. Nichols II, age 25, 125 Millers Lane Apt. C2, Marietta, and learned he had a warrant for his arrest. Arresting him for the warrant, Deputy Rhodes found a silver crack pipe in Mr. Nichol’s possession and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputy Staats noticed the front seat passenger, Randy J. Scott Sr., age 44, 308 Sixth Street Apt. C, Marietta, with a half full, cold can of Busch beer between his feet and arrested him for possessing an open container of alcohol. Also in possession of a pipe with crack residue, Mr. Scott was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 3 Feb 07 Deputy Sheriff Malone responded to the scene of a domestic dispute at 341 Everson Road, Belpre. Anita Thompson, age 44, stated her husband Larry, age 58, had been drinking and was upset over some antiques missing from their business in Belpre. With no provocation Mr. Thompson elbowed his wife in the back and grabbed her arm with such force she thought it would break. Mr. Thompson then shoved his wife into their living room and forced her to sit in a chair before she finally escaped to a relative’s home nearby. In consequence to Mr. Thompson’s actions, Deputy Malone arrested him for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

Henry Clement Lori Jr., age 45, 207 Curtis Boulevard Apt. B, Marietta, for disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Lori was arrested on Matthew Street in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 12:17 am.

Jeremy David Carpenter, age 28, 700 Barclay Street Apt. 11, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Carpenter was arrested on Main Street in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 1:23 am.

Virginia Ann Daugherty, age 39, 710 ½ Clement Avenue, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license, failure to signal, falsification, having improper plates and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanors. Daugherty was arrested on Main Street in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 3:05 am.

Anthony Ravon Frank, age 20, 53 Holiday Drive, Vienna, for underage consumption of alcohol and for obstructing official business, both misdemeanors. Frank was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 3:25 am.

Gurmel Lyman McDonald, age 19, 405 13th Street Apt. C, Parkersburg, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. McDonald was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 3:38 am.

Ashanti Rosehill Johnson, age 19, 227 Stout Street, Harrisville, WV, for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Johnson was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 3:50 am.

Dru Gordon Beck Jr., age 25, 10 Washington Square, Williamstown, for OVI and for failure to signal, both misdemeanors. Beck was arrested on Franklin Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 4:03 am.

Anthony Ray Nichols II, age 25, 125 Millers Lane Apt. C2, Marietta, for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Nichols was arrested on Acme Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 5:00 am.

Randy Joe Scott Sr., age 44, 308 Sixth Street Apt. C, Marietta, for possession of drug paraphernalia, contempt of a court order and for possessing an open container of alcohol, all misdemeanors. Scott was arrested on Acme Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 5:00 am.

Kimberly Ann Miller, age 35, 211 Harmar Street, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Miller was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 1:00 pm.

Jabari N. Henthorne, age 21, 176 Second Street, Athens, for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor. Henthorne was arrested near milepost six on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 4:35 pm.

Wilbur Lamont Yarbrough, age 37, 1340 Diana Street, Pittsburgh, PA, for a misdemeanor charge of possession of drugs and for being a fugitive from justice. Yarbrough was arrested near milepost thirteen on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 6:25 pm.

Larry Cinet Thompson, age 58, 341 Everson Road, Belpre, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Thompson was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 7:15 pm.

James Frederick Fenton, age 22, 816 Columbia Avenue, Williamstown, for OVI and failure to signal, both misdemeanors. Fenton was arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 3 Feb 07 at 7:45 pm.
