On 25 Jan 07 Detective Sirianni was assigned
a case involving the sexual assault of an eleven year old boy.
The victim disclosed to Detective Sirianni and Children’s
Services caseworker Alice Stewart a sixteen year old foster
child living in his home forced him to perform oral sex on
him multiple times beginning the second week of this month
and ending 24 Jan 07. When interviewed at the Washington County
Juvenile Detention Center the suspect confirmed the witness’ story,
stating that he forced the victim to engage in sexual acts
on three occasions. As a result the sixteen year old will remain
incarcerated and was issued a summons to appear in Juvenile
Court for delinquency by rape.
On 25 Jan 07 Howard Huck, age 77, 2425 Lowell
Hill Road, Lowell, reported sometime during the past two days
an unknown suspect(s) broke into a large storage building on
his property and stole two cordless drills, a reciprocating
saw and a drill bit sharpener. This case remains under investigation
(586).
On 25 Jan 07 a member of the Little Hocking
Volunteer Fire Department, 99 Tower Road, Little Hocking, reported
the halogen light at the base of the station’s flagpole
was broken sometime during the past twenty-four hours. This
case remains under investigation (586).
On 25 Jan 07 John D. Anderson, age 41, 8557
Muskingum River Road, Lowell, reported his 1994 Ford F-150
coasted down his driveway, across the road and into the Muskingum
River. Mr. Anderson stated he was warming up the vehicle and
had the emergency brake engaged but it must have malfunctioned.
No injuries were reported.
On 25 Jan 07 Lt. Wilson requested a summons
for Adam J. Farley, age 24, 105 Gilman Street Lot 10, Marietta,
for possession of drug paraphernalia. Mr. Farley was a passenger
in a vehicle stopped for having an inoperable license plate
light and found to possess a marijuana pipe.
On 25 Jan 07 an employee of Kraton Polymers,
2982 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, reported the accidental
release of 100 pounds of cyclohexane from a storage tank. The
liquid, which became a solid under a temperature of forty degrees,
was cleaned up without incident. No injuries were reported
(1183).
On 25 Jan 07 an employee of the OSU Extension
office, 202 Davis Avenue, Marietta, reported over a four day
span beginning on 14 Jul 06, an individual wrote three bad
checks for 4-H camp fees totaling $216. This case remains under
investigation (8411).

Office received the following warrants:
Jason W. Allman, age 24, 1320 Drag Strip Road,
Belpre, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered
hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $1,216.20.
William A. Boyd, age 39, 906 Hill Street, Marietta, for contempt
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines in the sum of $443.90.
Albert A. Campbell, age 26, PO Box 962, Grantsville, WV, for
contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines in the sum of $386.10.
Brenton D. Metz, age 22, 121 Kentucky Avenue, Marietta, for
contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on
unpaid fines in the sum of $998.40.
William J. Mitchell, age 22, 501 Thompson Road, Conneaut,
OH, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on 16
Jan 07.

Ronald Wayne Gilbert, age 41, 565 Dodd Run
Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a
misdemeanor. Gilbert was arrested at his residence by Probation
Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 25 Jan 07 at 2:50 pm.
Michael Johnson, age 50, 728 Second Street, Marietta, for
violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Johnson
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman McCracken of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 25 Jan 07 at 8:30 pm.
Aaron Freeman Farnsworth, age 21, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for two misdemeanor counts of domestic violence. Farnsworth
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 25 Jan 07 at 8:48 pm.
Glenn Roger Johnson Jr., age 20, 116 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for underage consumption of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Johnson
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 25 Jan 07 at 10:35 pm.
