On 24 Jan 07 Bryon D. Binegar, age 34, 8300
County Nine Road, Newport, reported between 8 pm on 18 Jan
and 6 am on 24 Jan a model 1910 shotgun and a green duffel
bag containing various hunting items were stolen from his unlocked
vehicle. This case remains under investigation (529).
On 24 Jan 07 the owner of Offenberger Disposal,
State Route 339, Beverly, reported the driver of a white Ford
truck was pulling a trailer with two large dumpsters that belonged
to his business and were stolen from Cardinal Concrete in Beverly.
Deputy Sheriff Malone received word from the American Car Crusher
that the suspect vehicle and two individuals were at the business.
When questioned, Sam G. Wilcoxen, age 30, 110 Main Street,
Waterford, stated he thought the dumpsters were scrap and admitted
taking them. In consequence, Deputy Malone arrested Mr. Wilcoxen
for theft and an outstanding warrant and transported him to
the Washington County Jail. The other individual, Larry T.
Lang, age 26, 3701 Plum Run Road, Marietta, was determined
not to be complicit in the theft but as the driver of the truck
was issued a citation for driving without a license.
On 24 Jan 07 Richard A. Klimas, age 58, 2548
State Route 124, Little Hocking, reported sometime during the
past two days an unknown suspect(s) cut the chain of his pole
storage building and stole four tires and rims, a three drawer
Craftsman toolbox and an old air compressor. This case remains
under investigation (1293).
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
James G. Capparuccini, age 24, 1505 Chavary
Road, Columbus, for contempt for failure to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines in the sum of $318.50.
Deron A. Quisinberry, age 31, 423 Williams Avenue, Williamstown,
for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $341.90.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Sam Gordon Wilcoxen, age 29, 110 Main Street,
Waterford, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines and theft, both misdemeanors. Wilcoxen was
arrested on State Route 7 by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jan 07 at 12:22 pm.
Aaron John Sarver, age 20, 15936 State Route 550, Fleming,
for driving under a suspended license, possession of drugs
and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Sarver was
arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Jan 07
at 9:56 pm.
