On 8 Jan 07 Deputy Sheriff Hall issued a citation
to Craig E. Carpenter, age 22, 612 East Cross Street, Summerfield,
OH, for driving under an FRA suspended license. Deputy Hall
stopped Mr. Carpenter at the intersection of State Route 821
and State Route 60 in Muskingum Township.
On 8 Jan 07 a thirty-six year old Lowell resident
reported being assaulted by her sixteen year old daughter.
Upset that her mother did not purchase her cigarettes, the
juvenile launched a barrage of obscenities at her mother and
grabbed a cigarette and lighter from her mother’s purse.
The teenager became more aggressive, knocking her mother to
the ground and pummeling her in the head and shoulders. Shortly
thereafter the teenager ceased her attack and fled. Deputy
Sheriff Staats later located the juvenile on Schwendeman Road,
arrested her for being delinquent and transported her to the
Washington County Juvenile Detention Center.

were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Curtis Scott McGregor, age 28, 115 Holiday
Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a felony. McGregor turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff O’Brien
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jan
07 at 9:00 am.
Deane Allen Beck Jr., age 26, 1008 30th Street, Parkersburg,
for rape and for violating the terms of a protection order,
both felonies. Beck was picked up at the Noble Correctional
Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 8 Jan 07 at 3:30 pm.
Mark Edward Rader II, age 24, 9544 State Route 550, Vincent,
for aggravated vehicular homicide, a felony. Rader was picked
up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 8 Jan 07 at 3:30 pm.
Donnie Gene Snyder, age 46, 603 Main Street Apt. B, Belpre,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Snyder was arrested on Elm Street in
Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 8 Jan 07 at 8:10 pm.
Joel Anthony Snyder, age 21, 4755 State Route 339, Vincent,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Snyder
was arrested at the Starfire in Belpre by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jan 07 at
9:15 pm.
Kimberly Denise Holliday, age 41, 123 Barber Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of her probation, a misdemeanor. Holliday
was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Newell of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 8 Jan 07 at 10:00 pm.
Joseph Anthony Driscoll, age 48, Marietta, for disorderly
conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Driscoll was arrested
at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Deputy Sheriff Stackpole and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Jan 07 at 11:45
pm.
