On 29 Dec 06 Rodney Stimpert, age 45, 170
Stanley Mills Road, Little Hocking, reported, upon being notified
by his credit union, that his debit card was used in several
unauthorized transactions in Mexico. This case remains under
investigation (8411).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Brent Matthew Newlen, age 23, 104 Riley Drive
Apt. 6, Marietta, for contempt of a court order, a misdemeanor.
Newlen was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff
Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 29
Dec 06 at 12:01 am.
John Sterling Holcomb Jr., age 37, 704 Butler Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, failure to register and for not wearing a seat belt,
all misdemeanors. Holcomb was arrested near milepost ten on
State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 29 Dec 06 at 1:45 am.
Eric Michael Hryb, age 27, 710 Front Street, Marietta, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Hryb was
arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 29 Dec 06 at 2:55 am.
Corey Lee Smearman, age 18, 121 Cullen Road,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Smearman was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation
Officer Seckman and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 29 Dec 06 at 10:05 am.
Barbara Taylor Lacava, age 50, 802 Walnut Street, Ravenswood,
WV, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Lacava turned herself in to Deputy Sheriff
Evans and was processed into the Washington County Jail on
29 Dec 06 at 4:10 pm.
Russell Dean Barnett, age 39, 1183 County Road 625, Coffee
Spring, AL, for OVI and driving outside the marked lanes of
travel, both misdemeanors. Barnett was arrested in Marietta
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 29 Dec 06 at 11:59 pm.
