On 22 Dec 06 an employee of Dollar General, 135 Third Street, Lowell, reported discovering an employee with three bags of frozen chicken wings in her personal belongings before her departure from work that evening. Questioned by Deputy Sheriff Simmons, the suspect admitted stealing from the store during the past year at an amount in excess of $1,000. This case remains under investigation.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Justin Kyle Tewkesbury, age 19, 521 Barclay Street Apt. 15, Belpre, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Tewkesbury was arrested on Main Street in Belpre by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 06 at 1:44 am.

Alan Scott Gibson, age 40, 20 Greenwood Circle Drive, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors. Gibson was arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 06 at 2:52 am.

Jordan Barrett Baker, age 24, 1079 Roundelay Road Apt. E, Reynoldsburg, OH, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and misdemeanor charges of .08 breath OVI, failure to yield and possession of drugs. Baker arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 06 at 4:05 am.

Joshua Alan Beaver, age 26, 101 Evans Street Apt. B11, New Matamoras, for receiving stolen property, a felony. Beaver was arrested in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 06 at 7:20 pm.

Gary Wayne Campbell, age 41, 270 Hendricks Street, Newport, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Campbell was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Dec 06 at 9:42 pm.
