On 21 Dec 06 Cheryl L. Jones, age 41, 8530
State Route 260, New Matamoras, reported when she returned
home after visiting her mother two days she noticed pry marks
on a window screen and noticed the remaining pills in her Percocet
and Vicodin prescription bottles were missing. This case remains
under investigation (1299).
On 21 Dec 06 Shawn A. Ogaz, age 18, 270 Hendricks
Street, Newport, reported after playfully punching his stepfather
Gary Campbell, age 41, in the arm in retaliation for a punch
to the groin, his stepfather became upset and overly aggressive.
Mr. Ogaz stated Mr. Campbell hit him in the face and head and
broke his necklace when his stepfather grabbed him by the neck.
Mr. Ogaz indicated Mr. Campbell’s behavior has happened
before and would like it to stop. As a result, Deputy Sheriff
Mankins arrested Mr. Campbell for domestic violence and transported
him to the Washington County Jail.

Office received the following warrants:
Gerald E. Mance, age 56, 8375 Pettibone Road,
Bainbridge, OH, for hunting without a license and hunting without
a deer permit on 27 Nov 06.
Steven P. Kirkpatrick, age 24, 11167 State Route 339, Vincent,
for failing to appear for pretrial on 20 Dec 06.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Brent Patrick Pottmeyer, age 28, 616 Second Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Pottmeyer
was arrested at Austyn’s in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 06 at 12:23 am.
Ronnie Dean Snyder Jr., age 25, 908 Main Street Apt. E, Belpre,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Snyder was arrested on
Pomeroy Pike in Belpre by Patrolman Kirby of the Belpre City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 21 Dec 06 at 12:40 am.
Charles Jeffrey Shaw, age 44, 2355 River Road, Stockport,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Shaw was arrested his
residence by Deputy Sheriff Malone and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Dec 06 at 1:21 am.
Michael Gay Lebeau, age 41, 4341 Timor Place,
Sarasota, FL, for driving under an FRA suspended license, speeding,
not wearing a seat belt and for having an open container of
alcohol, all misdemeanors. Lebeau was arrested on Interstate
Route 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 06 at 2:45 pm.
Barry Roy Laizure, age 35, 275 Wardell Street, Uhrichsville,
OH, for possession of drugs, a felony. Laizure was picked up
in Youngstown by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 06 at 4:12 pm.
Buffie Marie Gerst, age 28, 200 Walnut Drive, Whipple, for
failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines
and for driving with expired registration, both misdemeanors.
Gerst arrested at Burger King in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 21 Dec 06 at 5:30 pm.
Angela Michelle Lipscomb, age 35, 1095 Clement
Avenue, Belpre, for possession of drugs and possession of drug
paraphernalia, both misdemeanors. Lipscomb was arrested on
US 50 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Dec 06 at 5:30 pm.
