On 17 Dec 06 Timothy S. Blow, age 32, 1366
Patten Mills Road, Cutler, reported sometime since he left
his residence for his mother’s on 9 Dec, an unknown suspect(s)
entered his home through a locked side door ands stole eighty
CD’s, twenty DVD’s, a computer, two electric guitars
and seven collectible swords. This case remains under investigation
(1293).
On 17 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to John D. Bigler, age 31, 109 Washington Street,
Marietta, for having fictitious registration. Deputy Evans
stopped Mr. Bigler at the intersection of Front and Washington
Streets in Marietta.
On 17 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans arrested
Amanda Christine O’Brien, age 21, 300 Ridgewood Drive
Apt. H, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI. Deputy Evans stopped
Ms. O’Brien on State Route 821 for having an inoperable
license plate light and noticed she had an odor of alcohol
and bloodshot eyes. Despite her claim she drank only one beer
Ms. O’Brien performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
When transported to the Washington County Jail she tested .135%
BAC.

at the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta

Amanda Christine O’Brien, age 21, 300 Ridgewood Drive
Apt. H, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI, a misdemeanor. O’Brien
was arrested on State Route 821 in Whipple by Deputy Sheriff
Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 17 Dec
06 at 2:00 am.
Christopher R. Karcher, age 27, 779 Mount Tom Road, Marietta,
for assault, a misdemeanor. Karcher was arrested at the Four
Seasons in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City
Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 17 Dec 06 at 2:26 am.
Kevin Lee Brightwell, age 28, 130 Bridge Street, New Martinsville,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for resisting arrest,
both misdemeanors. Brightwell was arrested on Greene Street
in Marietta by Patrolman Linscott of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
17 Dec 06 at 2:50 am.
Gregory Patrick Matthews, age 21, 37323 Broaddus Road, Sardis,
OH, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor.
Matthews was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Patrolman
Linscott of the Marietta City Police Department and processed

Aaron Freeman Farnsworth, age 21, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for assault, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth was arrested at his
residence by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City Police Department

at 10:08 am.
Phillip Robin Neal Jr., age 22, 221 Franklin Street, Weirton,
WV, for driving under a suspended license and for speeding,
both misdemeanors. Neal was arrested near milepost eleven on
Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 17 Dec 06 at 2:49 pm.
Francisco Javier Castillo, age 26, 1408 William Street, Lansing,
MI, for being an illegal alien. Castillo was arrested on Interstate
77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the

Daniel Wayne Blair Jr., age 50, Marietta, for failure to appear,
a misdemeanor. Blair was arrested in Lowell by Deputy Sheriff

Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
