On 12 Dec 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation to Courtney D. Colyer, age 25, 112 Laramie Road, Marietta, for driving with an expired license. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Colyer on State Route 550 near State Route 7 in Marietta Township.

On 12 Dec 06 Clardin Allman, age 75, 2372 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, reported during the previous evening the rear license plate, Ohio number DNR 9020, was stolen off his 1989 Plymouth four door. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 12 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Eddy responded to the scene of death of a seventy-four year old Waterford resident. The man’s death appears to be natural; no foul play is suspected.

On 12 Dec 06 Angela Day, age 29, 565 BF Goodrich Road, Marietta, reported last Monday night a diamond and ruby ring was stolen by one of several friends she invited to her home to play cards. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 12 Dec 06 a thirty-two year old Cutler resident reported her fifteen year old son did not return home after serving time in after school detention that afternoon. She also noted she has frequent problems disciplining her son and that he will not observe household rules. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 12 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Malone responded to the scene of death of a fifty-four year old Marietta resident. The man succumbed due to an extended illness; no foul play is suspected.

On 12 Dec 06 Patricia Mahoney, age 29, 4739 Waterford Road, Marietta, reported when she reconciled her checking account online she noticed two checks were cashed at locations unfamiliar to her. Upon closer inspection of her checkbook Ms. Mahoney noticed the checks in question were removed from the end of the checkbook. This case remains under investigation (515).

Daniel W. Blair Jr., age 50, 312 Third Street Apt. 1, Lowell, for failing to appear to serve 180 days in jail on 21 Nov 06.

Amy S. Farnsworth, age 20, 122 Harmar Street, Marietta, for failing to appear for jury trial on 22 Nov 06.

Steven E. Hawver, age 44, 204 East Ninth Street Apt. D, Williamstown, for breach of recognizance for failing to appear in court on 17 Nov 06.

Jennifer N. Huddleston, age 27, 632 Cisler Drive, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license on 24 Nov 06.

Shawn H. Miller, age 36, 609 ½ Florence Street, Belpre, for violating the terms of his probation by failing to maintain contact with his probation officer.

Vicki L. Pippin, age 40, Route 1 Box 311, Delbarton, WV, for the theft of prescription pads on 16 Oct 06 and for breaking and entering on 29 Nov 06.

Ira T. Tabler, age 42, Box 19 State Route 329, Sharpsburg, for failing to appear for pretrial on 22 Nov 06.

Jeffrey A. Theiss, age 28, 27130 State Route 7, Marietta, for failing to appear for a probation violation hearing on 6 Dec 06.

Martin D. Welch Jr., age 35, 1192 Patten Mills Road, Cutler, for failing to appear for pretrial on 1 Dec 06.

Candice M. Townsend, age 33, 17982 US 33, Nelsonville, for failing to appear for a court ordered hearing on 29 Nov 06.

Thomas R. Paul, age 26, 1324 ½ Maple Street, Zanesville, for failing to appear for a court ordered hearing on 28 Nov 06.

Chantilla D. Brown, age 26, 1601 Blake Avenue, Columbus, for failing to appear for a court ordered hearing on 28 Nov 06.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Donald Eugene Stevens, age 23, 518 Ninth Street, Cambridge, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Stevens was picked up in Cambridge by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 06 at 11:30 am.

Sampson Wayne Williams, age 26, 412 Tenth Street, Rainelle, WV, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Williams was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 06 at 3:58 pm.

Janice Rae Robinson, age 47, 1214 Cisler Drive, Marietta, for domestic violence, obstructing official business and complicity, all misdemeanors. Robinson was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 06 at 6:30 pm.

Leonard Eugene Carpenter, age 63, 1214 Cisler Drive, Marietta, for five felony counts of intimidation of an officer, for felony counts of domestic violence and disrupting a public official and for misdemeanor counts of aggravated menacing, criminal damaging and disorderly conduct by intoxication. Carpenter was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 06 at 7:25 pm.

Ronnie Daniel Goad, age 32, 7170 State Route 60, Lowell, for domestic violence, endangering children and for resisting arrest, all misdemeanors. Goad was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail on 12 Dec 06 at 9:28 pm.
