On 8 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans arrested Vincent Michael Blazosky, age 21, 820 Ferncliff Drive, Marietta, for OVI, possession of drug paraphernalia and for speeding. Noticing Mr. Blazosky to be traveling faster than the speed limit on State Route 60, Deputy Evans conducted the traffic stop. Mr. Blazosky had bloodshot eyes, slurred his speech as he answered questions and performed poorly on field sobriety tests. After arresting Mr. Blazosky Deputy Evans located a marijuana pipe in the cab of his truck. When transported to the Washington County Jail Mr. Blazosky tested .148% BAC.

On 8 Dec 06 Deputy Morris encountered Clarence M. Coulverson, age 34, 2100 Lakeside Avenue, Cleveland, hitchhiking near milepost two on Interstate 77. When questioned Mr. Coulverson, who said he hitchhiked to Ohio from Florida, admitted being in possession of a crack pipe as well as a baggie containing cocaine residue. In consequence, Deputy Morris arrested Mr. Coulverson for possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 8 Dec 06 while conducting a traffic stop, Deputy Sheriff Evans detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from a passenger in the vehicle. Asked on three occasions to identify himself, Jonathin R. Brock, age 18, 2644 Dorothy Avenue NE, Canton, gave a false name. Mr. Brock later recanted and admitted consuming one beer and a shot of alcohol. Therefore, Mr. Brock was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 8 Dec 06 Lynn Jarvis, age 32, 1095 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, reported being assaulted by her husband Travis, age 27. In the bathroom an argument began and Mrs. Jarvis stated her husband pushed her to the floor then forced her down a flight of stairs. When she escaped up the stairs, Mr. Jarvis grabbed his wife’s ankle and dragged her back downstairs. There he proceeded to pin her to the floor and poke her in the face before she escaped to phone for help. At the scene, Mr. Jarvis confessed to Deputy Sheriff Staats he was the aggressor in the altercation. Thus Deputy Staats arrested Mr. Jarvis for domestic violence and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Vincent Michael Blazosky, age 21, 820 Ferncliff Drive, Marietta, for OVI, possession of drug paraphernalia and for speeding, all misdemeanors. Blazosky was arrested on State Route 60 by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 06 at 1:08 am.

Jonathin Robert Brock, age 18, Marietta, for obstructing official business and for underage consumption of alcohol, both misdemeanors. Brock was arrested on Lancaster Street by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 06 at 3:20 am.

Michael Anthony Pratt, age 39, 314 Tenth Street Apt. A, Cambridge, for driving under a suspended license and for breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors. Pratt was picked up in Summit County by Corrections Officer Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 06 at 9:43 am.

Clarence Mitch Coulverson, age 34, 2100 Lakeside Avenue, Cleveland, for a felony charge of possession of drugs and a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Coulverson was arrested on Interstate 77 by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 06 at 1:35 pm.

Brian Michael Sams, age 29, Marietta, for receiving stolen property, a felony. Sams was arrested on McGill Road by Detective Sirianni of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 06 at 3:33 pm.

Judith Faye Sergent, age 52, 140 Franklin Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, Sergent was arrested on Harmar Street in Marietta by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 06 at 4:56 pm.

Travis Ronald Jarvis, age 27, 1095 Silver Globe Road, Marietta, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Jarvis was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Dec 06 at 7:32 pm.
