On 6 Dec 06 Regina Devol, age 49, 836 Pike
Street Apt. 12, Marietta, reported while she enjoyed the Festival
of Lights in Wheeling that afternoon, an unknown suspect entered
her apartment and stole six rings and $62 in cash. This case
remains under investigation (500).
On 6 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Rhodes responded
to the scene of death of a sixty-seven year old Macksburg resident.
The woman’s death appears to be due to natural causes;
no foul play is suspected.
On 6 Dec 06 Lt. Huffer issued a citation to
Steven D. Abbitt, age 51, 25 Tanglewood Road, Belpre, for passing
on a double yellow line. Lt. Huffer stopped Mr. Abbitt on Veto
Road near Barth Road in Dunham Township.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Jennifer N. Huddleston, age 27, 632 Cisler
Drive, Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation by
failing to show proof of paying restitution or to serve ten
days in jail.
Cory W. Leader, age 27, 104 ½ Washington Street, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation by failing to complete
a Driver’s Intervention program or to serve three days
in jail.
David L. Perine, age 21, 201 Duncan Drive, New Matamoras,
for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines in the sum of $448.50.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Thomas Eugene Malone Jr., age 28, 304 Maple Street, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Malone was arrested at
his residence by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
5 Dec 06 at 7:36 pm.
Brandon Wayne Abram, age 19, Marietta, for aggravated menacing,
a misdemeanor. Abram was arrested outside the Locker Room in
Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
6 Dec 06 at 12:35 am.
Dallas Wiley Farnsworth, age 33, 266 Muskingum Drive, Marietta,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Farnsworth
was arrested on Putnam Avenue Drive in Marietta by Patrolman
Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 6 Dec 06 at 2:25 am.
Craig Daniel Anthony, age 19, 1114 State Route 339, Belpre,
for OVI, speeding, possession of drug paraphernalia and for
not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Anthony was arrested
on US 50 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 6 Dec 06 at 4:42 am.
Alfred Henry Martin III, age 20, 4561 Jarvis
Road, Guysville, for driving under a suspended license and
for operating with plates belonging to the former owner, both
misdemeanors. Martin was arrested on Washington Boulevard in
Belpre by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Dec 06 at
9:30 am.
Anthony Ray Nichols, age 24, 125 Millers Lane Apt. C2, Marietta,
for violating the terms of his probation, a felony. Nichols
was picked up at SEPTA by Lt. Coppernoll of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 6 Dec 06 at 2:50 pm.
Robert Lee Miller, age 32, 22773 State Route 78, Sarahsville,
for failure to appear and for failure to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Miller
was picked up at the Belmont County Jail by Deputy Sheriff
O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 6 Dec 06 at 5:10 pm.
Leonard Eugene Carpenter, age 63, 1214 Cisler Lane, Marietta,
for aggravated menacing, criminal damaging and for violating
the terms of a protection order, all misdemeanors. Carpenter
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 6 Dec 06 at 10:27 pm.
