On 2 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans requested
a summons for a sixteen year old Coal Run Road resident to
appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. The teenager’s
mother stated her daughter is disrespectful, defiant and refuses
to obey household rules.
On 2 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Wayne A. Webster, age 34, 1817 State Route 87
Unit 349, Millersburg, OH, for traveling 58 mph in a 40 mph
zone. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Webster on State Route 550
in Barlow Township.
On 2 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans arrested
Marleigh L. Hart, age 25, 807 Mitchell Avenue Lot 21, Beverly,
for OVI. Stopped for swerving in her lane, Ms. Hart admitted
being intoxicated and that she had only driven a short way.
Following her poor performance on field sobriety tests Ms.
Hart was transported to the Washington County Jail where she
refused to complete a BAC test.
On 2 Dec 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a
citation to Jolie A. Ash, age 31, Pennock Drive Lot 16, Beverly,
for driving with expired plates. Deputy Morris stopped Ms.
Ash on Jennison Street near Lakeview Drive in Beverly.
On 2 Dec 06 Sgt. Hiatt and Deputy Sheriff
Smeeks responded to a possible assault at 20 Suzanne Street,
Little Hocking. Jennifer M. Ruth, age 32, stated her former
boyfriend David J. Lightner, age 27, scratched her and threw
her to the floor as he attempted to retrieve his cellular phone
and keys from her purse. Contrarily, Mr. Lightner informed
the Deputies that Ms. Ruth assaulted him when he searched for
his belongings and may have scratched Ms. Ruth by accident.
As a result, Deputy Smeeks requested summonses for both parties
for disorderly conduct.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Ashley Ann Barcelli, age 21, 312 Third Street, Lowell, for
disorderly conduct, a misdemeanor. Barcelli was arrested at
the Locker Room in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 2 Dec 06 at 2:40 am.
Marleigh Louise Hart, age 25, 807 Mitchell Avenue Lot 21,
Beverly, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Hart was arrested on State
Route 339 in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 06 at 4:00 am.
Ronnie Edwin Kern Sr., age 42, 225 Main Street, Belpre, for
driving under an FRA suspended license and speeding, both misdemeanors.
Kern was arrested on State Route 550 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 2 Dec 06 at
9:41 am.
