On 26 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a citation to Allen R. Robey, age 45, 6790 Pleasantview Road, Lancaster, for traveling 75 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Robey on State Route 60 near milepost twenty-two in Waterford Township.

On 26 Nov 06 Sgt. Underwood issued a citation to Sharon A. Legleitner, age 71, 800 Robinson Hill Road, Marietta, for failure to register. Sgt. Underwood stopped Ms. Legleitner on State Route 7 near Blue Knob Road in Warren Township.

On 26 Nov 06 a sixteen year old Marietta resident reported her 1992 Toyota Camry was stolen while she spent the night at her grandmother’s home on Smith Drive. A witness later informed Deputy Sheriff Morris of a vehicle he noticed overturned on Cannon Road in Reno. Under further questioning the juvenile stated she was driving the vehicle when she lost control and slid off the road into a ditch. Charges against the teenager for delinquency by failure to control a vehicle and filing a false report are pending.

On 26 Nov 06 Robert D. Foster, age 32, 3248 Suburban Drive, Beavercreek, OH, reported sometime since October when his father died, Subaru station wagon and two guns were stolen from his father’s residence at 4372 Dixon Ridge Road, Lowell. This case remains under investigation (592).

On 26 Nov 06 Jeremy Life, age 39, 633 Carson Lane, Little Hocking, reported his neighbor directed several obscenities at him while he worked on his truck that afternoon. This case remains under investigation (586).

On 26 Nov 06 Tiffany Waugh, age 23, 321 Wicklow Road, Columbus, reported the driver of a silver vehicle struck and ran over her as she stood in the parking lot of the Outskirts Bar at 20825 State Route 550, Marietta. The driver of the vehicle then reversed direction, running over Ms. Waugh again, and fled the scene. Ms. Waugh was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment for minor injuries. This case remains under investigation (1001).

On 26 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a citation to Jeffrey L. Grimm, age 31, 1106 27th Street, Vienna, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Grimm on State Route 60 near milepost twelve in Adams Township.

On 26 Nov 06 Tabatha L. Lewis, age 37, 33435 State Route 260, Rinard Mills, reported the rear license plate, Ohio number DXU9472, was stolen from her son’s truck sometime after 11 pm the previous evening. This case remains under investigation (1299).

Kimberly Anne Hill-Jay, age 47, 411 Franklin Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Hill-Jay was arrested at Speedway on Seventh Street in Marietta by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 06 at 1:00 am.

Gary Lee Jackson Jr., age 24, 300 Phillips Street, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, all misdemeanors. Jackson was arrested at the Four Seasons in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 06 at 2:05 am.

Scott Anthony Moore, age 21, Route 1 Box 249A, Harrisville, WV, for OVI and for failing to obey the right of way, both misdemeanors. Moore was arrested at the intersection of Franklin and Market Streets in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 06 at 3:45 am.

Paul Charles Neader, age 38, 901 Front Street, Marietta, for criminal trespassing and telephone harassment, both misdemeanors. Neader was arrested at the Holiday Inn in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 06 at 4:05 am.

Cornell Lamar Meyers, age 41, 223 Greene Street Apt. 1, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication and for obstructing official business. Meyers was arrested at Speedway on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 06 at 8:40 pm.

Daniel Eugene Burton Jr., age 27, 612 Washington Square, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license, for having fictitious plates, for not wearing a seat belt and for having faulty headlights, all misdemeanors. Burton was arrested on Putnam Street in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 26 Nov 06 at 9:15 pm.
