On 24 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued
a citation to Stevie R. Laughery, age 18, 271 Muskingum Drive,
Marietta, for traveling 88 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris
stopped Mr. Laughery on State Route 7 near milepost forty-one
in Newport Township.
On 24 Nov 04 Sandra D. Gearhart, age 46, 1090
Drag Strip Road, Belpre, reported a woman she recognized as
Lori McClaskey, age 36, 35B Islandview Drive, Parkersburg,
was pounding on her door and in the midst of a profanity laced
tirade. Citing past incidents during which Ms. Gearhart was
in fear for safety, Deputy Sheriff Evans requested summonses
for Ms. McClaskey for criminal trespassing and menacing.
On 24 Nov 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Jennifer N. Huddleston, age 27, 632 Cisler Lane, Marietta,
for driving under a suspended license. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms.
Huddleston on Putnam Street in Marietta.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Michael Jay Babcock, age 30, 470 Cornerville Road, Marietta,
for a felony charge of violating the terms of his probation
and for a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Babcock
was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 24 Nov 06 at 3:15 am.
Lucas Alan Heiss, age 26, 2204 Hill Street Apt. F, Belpre,
for passing bad checks and for failure to appear, both misdemeanors.
Heiss was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff
Staats and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24
Nov 06 at 1:18 pm.
Justin Julio Capparuccini, age 24, 1505 Chauncey Road, Columbus,
for driving under a suspended license and for following too
closely, both misdemeanors. Capparuccini was arrested on Archers
Fork Road in New Matamoras by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 24 Nov 06 at 2:48 pm.
Daniel Eugene Barber, age 19, 45945 State Route 681, Reedsville,
for breach of recognizance, contempt of a court order, OVI,
operating without a license, failure to signal, possession
of drugs and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors.
Barber was arrested on US 50 near Main Street in Belpre by
Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 24 Nov 06
at 10:46 pm.
