On 23 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a citation to Howar D. Hupp, age 48, 84 Sealy Ridge Road, Little Hocking, for operating without a license. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Hupp on Arrowhead Road near State Route 7 in Belpre Township.

On 23 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a citation to Clint A. Hubble, age 28, 2957 Dublin Arbor Lane, Dublin, OH, for traveling 52 mph in a 35 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Hubble on Mitchell’s Lane near Wrights Road in Marietta Township.

On 23 Nov 06 Jeffrey A. Joy, age 36, 109 Lockhart Street, Belpre, reported a chainsaw, toolbox and a drill were stolen from the bed of his truck while he was away from home that day. This case remains under investigation (1293).

On 23 Nov 06 Paul E. Farnsworth, age 64, 9239 State Route 60, Lowell, reported over the past two days seventy of his newly filled prescription for ninety pills of HydroCodone have been stolen from his bathroom. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 23 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a citation to Christopher L. Matheny, age 21, 3290 Cats Creek Road, Macksburg, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Matheny on State Route 60 near milepost thirteen in Adams Township.

On 23 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation to Martha F. Bawn, age 58, 15227 Cline Road, Danville, OH, for not stopping at a stop sign. Deputy Mankins stopped Ms. Bawn on Sand Hill Road near Miller’s Lane in Marietta Township.

On 23 Nov 06 Chad D. Hockenberry, age 22, 122 Tennis Center Drive Apt. 3, Marietta, reported his Pioneer CD player was stolen from his unlocked truck during the evening. This case remains under investigation (1299).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Jeffrey Alan Theiss, age 28, 27130 State Route 7, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Theiss was arrested at Marietta Memorial Hospital by Patrolman Kampmeier of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Nov 06 at 12:45 am.

Randy Messer Jr., age 34, 219 Virginia Street, Marietta, for giving false information to avoid a ticket, a misdemeanor. Messer was arrested on Third Street in Marietta by Lt. Wilson of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Nov 06 at 4:30 am.
