On 22 Nov 06 a thirty-four year old Newport resident reported her seventeen year old daughter is habitually truant from the Career Center and when she does attend school she leaves without permission in order to visit her boyfriend. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Staats requested a summons for the teenager to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly.

On 22 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Durham issued a citation to Christopher B. Kosmala, age 23, 15 S. Shafer Street Apt. 1203, Athens, for traveling 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Durham stopped Mr. Kosmala on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road in Belpre Township.

On 22 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Durham issued a citation to David C. Wick, age 25, 77 Franklin Avenue Apt. 1, Athens, for failure to register. Deputy Durham stopped Mr. Wick on State Route 7 near Gravel Bank Road in Warren Township.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Trenna Lynn Tucker, age 20, PO Box 225, Lowell, for complicity in theft, a felony. Tucker was arrested on Gilman Avenue in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 06 at 5:58 am.

Shawn Patrick Stevens, age 23, 2859 13th Avenue, Columbus, for two felony counts of trafficking in drugs. Stevens was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Corrections Officer Travaglio and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 06 at 2:28 pm.

Tonya Sue Allison, age 38, 1255 Leith Run Road, New Matamoras, for being a repeat traffic offender, speeding and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Allison was arrested on State Route 7 in Newport by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 06 at 5:15 pm.
