On 21 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Staats issued
a citation to Christopher F. McGuire, age 19, 190 Oak Drive,
Little Hocking, for traveling 71 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy
Staats stopped Mr. McGuire on State Route 339 near milepost
eleven in Barlow Township.
On 21 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Tyrone A. Taylor, age 41, 250 Ferncliff Drive,
Marietta, for not stopping at a stop sign. Deputy Mankins stopped
Mr. Taylor at the intersection of Chamberlain Drive and River
Road in Muskingum Township.
On 21 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Norman requested
a summons for Steven D. Potts, age 38, 6619 Kellum Drive, Indianapolis,
IN, for violating the terms of a protection order. The summons
alleges Mr. Potts wrote a letter to his estranged wife and
phoned her on 20 Nov, in violation of a protection order that
was served on him on 26 Oct 06 and specifically forbids contact.
On 21 Nov 06 Lt. Wilson issued a citation
to Holly A. Potter, age 35, 2184 Egypt Pike, Chillicothe, for
traveling 78 mph in a 55 mph zone. Lt. Wilson stopped Ms. Potter
on State Route 7 near Gravel Bank Road in Warren Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Troy Eugene Lightfritz, age 20, 833 Ridge
Street, Marietta, for .08 breath OVI, driving outside the marked
lanes of travel, for underage consumption of alcohol and for
obstructing official business, all misdemeanors. Lightfritz
was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman
of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 06 at 3:34 am.
Thomas Ira Valentine, age 24, 114 Sunset Drive,
Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor.
Valentine was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 06
at 1:15 pm.
Derrik Ryan McGee, age 23, 108 Riley Drive Apt. 8, Marietta,
for safecracking, a felony. McGee was picked up in Lancaster
by Deputy Sheriff Underwood and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 21 Nov 06 at 4:45 pm.
