On 20 Nov 06 Detective Johnson requested a summons for Ramey L. Hart, age 29, 2701 State Route 83, Beverly, for driving under a suspended license. Mr. Hart was the driver of a truck that struck a gas pump at Par Mar in Beverly.

On 20 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans requested a summons for Brian Gallagher, age 24, 206 W. Washington Street, Athens, for possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stopping Mr. Gallagher for speeding on State Route 7, Deputy Evans discovered the contraband during an ensuing consensual search.

On 20 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued a citation to David W. Pottmeyer, age 18, 221 Summit Street, Marietta, for traveling 60 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Mankins stopped Mr. Pottmeyer near Chamberlain Drive on State Route 60 in Muskingum Township.

On 20 Nov 06 Buffie J. Potts, 3680 State Route 60, Marietta, reported receiving over the past several days, phone calls and a letter from her estranged husband in violation of a protection order. This case remains under investigation (500).

On 20 Nov 06 the principal of Warren High School reported being informed by several students that a fifteen year old student brandished a box cutter after exiting off their bus on 16 Nov 06. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 20 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a citation to Edward A. Green, age 52, 2387 Butcher Bend Road, Mineral Wells, for traveling 58 mph in a 45 mph zone. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Green at Veto Road on State Route 339 in Dunham Township.

On 20 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a citation to John J. Dupuis, age 26, 355 11th Avenue, Krotz Springs, LA, for traveling 79 mph in a 60 mph zone. Deputy Smeeks stopped Mr. Dupuis on US 50 near State Route 124 in Belpre Township.

On 20 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a citation to John D. Coen, age 42, 7480 Williams Road, Athens, for traveling 69 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Coen near Lockhart Street on State Route 7 in Belpre Township.

On 20 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested Lucia Benner, age 43, 14503 State Route 339, Beverly, for OVI, driving under an OVI suspended license and for not using a turn signal. Ms. Benner failed to use a turn signal when entering the Beverly Par Mar parking lot and had a strong odor of alcohol. Performing poorly on field sobriety tests, Ms. Benner tested .216% BAC when transported to the Washington County Jail.

Jeremy G. Davis, age 24, 416 Arnold Road, Marietta, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 3 Nov 06.

Jessica R. Campbell, age 18, 5057 Buchanan Road, Waterford, for selling beer to an underage person on 12 Jul 06.

Kimberly A. Cornute, age 28, 1292 Lenox Avenue, Mansfield, for failing to appear for trial on 8 Nov 06.

Shawn E. Cunningham, age 19, 195 W. Church Street, Newark, for the theft of a vehicle on 6 Nov 06.

Jon C. Preston, age 45, 836 Pike Street Apt. 17, Marietta, for failing to appear for pretrial on 14 Nov 06.

Steven W. Rush, age 20, 1770 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, for failing to appear for pretrial on 15 Nov 06.

Alisha D. Small, age 26, 70 Main Street, Waterford, for the theft of property from White Oak Pharmacy on 11 Sep 06.

Jessica Stevens, age 25, 27163 State Route 7, Marietta, for failing to appear for pretrial on 13 Nov 06.

Dwight E. Wells, age 46, 14600 Robert Wells Road, Dexter City, for breach of recognizance on 8 Nov 06.

Kathy R. Harner, age 37, 705 Clement Avenue, Belpre, for failing to appear for a probation violation hearing on 15 Nov 06.

Paula J. Jackson, age 19, 1985 Roberts Road, Amesville, for failing to appear for a restitution hearing on 15 Nov 06.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Lee Anna Newbanks, age 24, 1588 Federal Road, Little Hocking, for OVI, not wearing a seat belt and for failure to control, all misdemeanors. Newbanks was arrested on Briggs Hill Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 06 at 1:21 am.

Robert Lee Trout, age 28, 304 Blennerhassett Avenue, Belpre, for endangering children, a misdemeanor. Trout was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Augenstein of the Belpre City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 06 at 8:18 pm.

Lucia Benner, age 43, 14503 State Route 339, Beverly, for OVI, driving under an OVI suspended license and for not using a turn signal, all misdemeanors. Benner was arrested at Par Mar in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Nov 06 at 11:20 pm.
