On 16 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris arrested
Matthew T. Berga, age 28, 876 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta,
for OVI and for having faulty equipment. Deputy Mankins heard
Mr. Berga spinning and conducted a traffic stop for not having
a license plate light. Mr. Berga was combative a refused to
complete field sobriety tests. When transported to the Washington
County Jail Mr. Berga refused a BAC test.
On 16 Nov 06 a twenty-six year old Waterford
resident reported the seventeen year old she has custody of
is habitually unruly and his argumentative behavior is becoming
increasingly violent. As a result, Deputy Sheriff Reynolds
requested a summons for the juvenile to appear in Juvenile
Court for being unruly.
On 16 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins issued
a citation to Jason H. Maine, age 30, 33044 State Route 260,
Graysville, for not stopping at a stop sign. Deputy Mankins
stopped Mr. Maine at the intersection of Slaughter House Hill
and State Route 676 in Warren Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Eric Ellis Luke, age 19, 405 Lord Street, Marietta, for felony
and misdemeanor charges of possession of drugs. Luke was arrested
at Food 4 Less in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 06 at 12:30 am.
Terri Dawn Luke, age 18, PO Box 65, Lower Salem, for possession
of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor. Luke was arrested at
Food 4 Less in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Evans and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 06 at 12:30 am.
Carleton West Sparks Sr., age 46, 314 Harmar Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear and for failure to appear at a court
ordered hearing on unpaid fines, both misdemeanors. Sparks
was arrested on South Seventh Street in Marietta by Deputy
Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 16 Nov 06 at 12:44 am.
David Leonard Mosely, age 37, 514 Kanawha Drive, Saint Albans,
WV, for .08 breath OVI and for driving without headlights,
both misdemeanors. Mosely was arrested on Pike Street in Marietta
by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 16 Nov 06 at 1:15 am.
Harry Edwin Schmidt Jr., age 28, 20 Killwell Run Road, Marietta,
for driving under an OVI suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Schmidt was arrested on Greene Street in Marietta by Sgt. Hiatt
of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov 06 at 2:05 am.
Melvin Leon Cummings, age 46, 1533 Cherokee Trail, Conley,
GA, for OVI and for making an improper turn, both misdemeanors.
Cummings was arrested on Washington Street in Marietta by Deputy
Sheriff Morris and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 16 Nov 06 at 2:44 am.
Matthew Twain Berga, age 28, 876 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta,
for OVI and for having faulty equipment, both misdemeanors.
Berga was arrested on Putnam Street in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff
Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16
Nov 06 at 3:10 am.
Andrew James Erb, age 31, 920 Mitchell Avenue Apt. B, Beverly,
for nonsupport of dependants, a felony. Erb turned himself
in at the Beverly Police Department to Patrolman Brockmeier
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Nov
06 at 2:10 pm.
Terry Lee Hook Sr., age 58, 61 Walnut Street, Little Hocking,
for trafficking in drugs, a felony. Hook was arrested at his
residence by Detective Warden of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16
Nov 06 at 4:00 pm.
