On 11 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Norman responded
to the scene of death of a seventy-two year old Waterford resident.
The man’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.
On 11 Nov 06 Brenda Siley, age 43, 1665 Wynncrest
Drive, Marietta, reported sometime since 7 Nov an unknown suspect(s)
entered an unsecured garage on her property and damaged the
driver side window of her son’s vehicle. This case remains
under investigation (586).
On 11 Nov 06 the owner of J & C Auto Sales,
4635 State Route 339, Vincent, reported a 1994 Pontiac Grand
Am was stolen off the car lot sometime after 6 pm Friday evening.
This case remains under investigation (586).
On 11 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested
Matthew J. Miller, age 32, 210 ½ Fourth Street, Beverly,
for driving under a suspended license. Deputy Mankins stopped
Mr. Miller for having expired plates and for driving left of
center on Waterford Road and was informed by Dispatch that
Mr. Miller’s license was under suspension.
On 11 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued
a citation to James R. Johnson, age 37, 626 Canoe Run Road,
Grayson, KY, for driving under a license suspended for unpaid
citations. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Johnson near milepost
thirteen on State Route 60 in Lowell Township.
On 11 Nov 06 Richard L. Morgan, age 66, 18620
State Route 339, Waterford, reported at some point since January
of this year the validation sticker on his motor home’s
license plate was stolen. This case remains under investigation
(296).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Matthew John Miller, age 32, 210 ½ Fourth Street, Beverly,
for driving under a suspended license and for failure to register,
both misdemeanors. Miller was arrested on Waterford Road by
Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 11 Nov 06 at 12:14 am.
Joseph Michael Jelinski, age 21, 2539 Indiana Avenue, Pittsburgh,
for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Jelinski
was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Lt. Wilson of
the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 11 Nov 06 at 2:28 am.
Roger Dale Kerns, age 49, 926 Main Street, Belpre, for OVI,
driving under an OVI suspended license, driving left of center
and for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer,
all misdemeanors. Kerns was arrested on Gibbons Street in Belpre
by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11 Nov 06
at 3:17 am.
Nancy Darlene Walker, age 49, 2836 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Walker was arrested at her residence by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 11
Nov 06 at 4:28 pm.
Henry Clay Farley, age 46, Bear Run Road, Newport, for OVI,
driving under a suspended license, failure to control and for
not having license plates, all misdemeanors. Farley was arrested
on Hills Bridge Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 11 Nov 06 at 9:45 pm.
