On 8 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Smeeks issued a
citation to Jeffrey L. Calvert, age 39, 43 Lyman Street, Lyman,
SC, for traveling 80 mph in 65 mph zone. Deputy Smeeks stopped
Mr. Calvert near milepost six on Interstate 77 near in Muskingum
Township.
On 8 Nov 06 Eileen Wiseman, age 44, 605 Dodd
Run Road, Marietta, reported during the night, while she stayed
at her mother’s residence at 70 Mill Street, Waterford,
an unknown suspect entered her locked vehicle, stole $254 and
relocked the car. This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 8 Nov 06 William J. Rutheford, age 50,
158 Greene Street, Newport, reported an unknown suspect entered
his locked home office and rummaged through a number of files.
No items appear missing at this time. This case remains under
investigation (1020).
On 8 Nov 06 a forty-seven year old Marietta
resident reported she is continuously having problems disciplining
her sixteen year old stepson. During the most recent incident
she stated her stepson pushed and pinned her against the wall
as he shut his bedroom door and later unplugged the phone when
she tried to call for help. This case remains under investigation
(1020).
On 8 Nov 06 Penny Bowie, age 56, 261 Sugar
Valley Road, Bens Run, WV, reported over the past several days
she has noticed several items missing from an RHDD client’s
home in Belpre. This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 8 Nov 06 Shirley Ullman, age 53, 3028 State
Route 550, Bartlett, reported sometime since 5 Nov someone
stole a large decorative black pot of marigolds from along
her sidewalk. This case remains under investigation (1090).
On 8 Nov 06 Sgt. Underwood responded to the
scene of death of an eighty-five year old Fleming resident.
The woman’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Alberto Barcegu Gomez, age 20, Rivercrest
Village Apt. A, Marietta, for OVI, operating without a license,
driving left of center and for not wearing a seat belt, all
misdemeanors. Gomez was arrested on County House Lane near
State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov 06 at 3:00 am.
Lou Ann Champ, age 39, 150 Camelot Road, Belpre,
for felony charges of breach of recognizance and violating
the terms of her probation and misdemeanor charges of failure
to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and driving
under an FRA suspended license. Champ was arrested in Belpre
by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s
Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov
06 at 1:05 pm.
Aimee Renee Dibert, age 32, 1213 Wyatt Lane Apt. A, Belpre,
for driving under an FRA suspended license, a misdemeanor.
Dibert was arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov
06 at 4:15 pm.
Joshua Cleveland Sinkfield, age 34, 1202 County House Lane
Apt. H, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation,
a misdemeanor. Sinkfield was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman
Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 8 Nov 06 at 12:01 am.
