On 6 Nov 06 Deputy Sheriff Hall requested
a warrant for Donald L. Sears, age 46, 1315 Auld Street, Alliance,
OH, for a felony charge of theft. The summons alleges Mr. Sears
misrepresented himself as an acquaintance of Elizabeth A. Dovedot,
age 81, and coaxed out of her a $750 check
On 6 Nov 06 an employee of Belpre Brick, 825
State Route 339, Belpre, reported over the weekend an unknown
suspect broke two windows to gain entry into the business’ office
and rummaged through the desk drawers. No items appear missing
at this time. This case remains under investigation (1293).
On 6 Nov 06 a forty year old Marietta resident
reported her fifteen year old son and his nineteen year old
friend took her 1991 Oldsmobile Bravada without permission
and were possibly en route to Newark. This case remains under
investigation (1293).
On 6 Nov 06 an employee of ECH Transport,
7110 Veto Road, Belpre, reported sometime since Sunday afternoon
an unknown suspect(s) entered the office through a window and
stole a $3,500 check, numerous fuel cards and debit cards for
Home Depot and Lowe’s. This case remains under investigation
(592).
On 6 Nov 06 Detective Schuck issued a citation
to Rocky Huck, age 25, 20330 State Route 60, Beverly, for driving
under an FRA suspended license. Detective Schuck stopped Mr.
Huck on Masonic Park Road near State Route 60 in Muskingum
Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Terry Brian Fox, age 32, 316 Walnut Street,
Belpre, for complicity in committing theft and for receiving
stolen property, both felonies. Fox was arrested by Patrolman
Nedeff at the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 6 Nov 06 at 11:15 pm.
Samantha Sue Staley, age 24, Marietta, for a felony charge
of theft and a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear. Staley
was arrested by Patrolman Nedeff at the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
6 Nov 06 at 11:20 pm.
David Allen Rexroad, age 30, 1448 Emerson Avenue, Parkersburg,
for receiving stolen property and for possession of drug paraphernalia,
both misdemeanors. Rexroad was arrested on Grove Street in
Marietta by Patrolman Arbaugh of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 6 Nov 06 at
11:40 pm.
