On 31 Oct 06 the administrator of Camp Hervida
Bingo reported on 1 Aug 06 the organization received six bad
checks from an individual totaling $575 and that the checks
were written from account that was closed in April. This case
remains under investigation (8411).
On 31 Oct 06 a twenty-seven year old Newport
resident reported her ex-husband left voicemails on her cellular
phone, threatening to shoot both her and her new husband. When
interviewed, the woman’s thirty year old ex-husband did
not deny the allegations, resulting in Deputy Sheriff Eddy’s
request for a warrant for telephone harassment.
On 31 Oct 06 Melanie Smith, age 42, 195 Smith
Road, Marietta, reported on 23 Oct 06 she noticed a glider
and two side table were missing from the porch of her deceased
father’s residence at 60 Wittekind Road, Marietta. This
case remains under investigation (1090).
On 31 Oct 06 Jacqueline Minamyer, age 75,
3815 State Route 26, Marietta, reported during the night a
broken porcelain tub, piping, a bag of drywall and other items
indicative of bathroom remodeling were dumped without permission
on her property. This case remains under
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Edward L. Clendenin, age 48, 141 Midway Drive,
Dunbar, WV, for failing to appear upon indictment for grand
theft, receiving stolen property and theft.
Adam Bean, age 20, 1208 George Street, Parkersburg, for failing
to appear upon indictment for receiving stolen property.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Jesse Wayne Boone, age 24, 191 Fifth Street,
McConnelsville, for driving under an FRA suspended license
and for not wearing a seat belt, both misdemeanors. Boone was
arrested on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 31 Oct 06
at 9:25 pm.
Felicia Christine Jackson, age 25, 404 Montgomery Street,
Marietta, for violating the terms of her probation, a felony.
Jackson was arrested at the Four Seasons in Marietta by Patrolman
Huffman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 31 Oct 06 at 11:50 pm.
