On 28 Oct 06 Cathy L. Clegg, age 45, 112 Belaire
Drive, Marietta, reported being in fear for her safety during
a dispute with her husband Arthur, age 68. Mrs. Clegg indicated
her husband’s enmity was due to the fact that their home
was under foreclosure and that her husband grabbed her by the
arm and threatened to shove her head through the wall. Mr.
Clegg then shoved his wife against the wall and fled. He was
later arrested for domestic violence and transported to the
Washington County Jail.
On 28 Oct 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins arrested
Alex D. Curry, age 44, 554 Curry Road, Waterford, for .08 breath
OVI, failure to signal and for operating with an expired license.
Deputy Mankins observed Mr. Curry abruptly pull of the side
of State Route 60 in Beverly without using his turn signal.
Noticing an odor of alcohol, Deputy Mankins administered field
sobriety tests. Following his poor performance on field sobriety
tests Mr. Curry was transported to into the Washington County
Jail where he tested .109% BAC.
On 28 Oct 06 Deputy Sheriff Evans issued a
citation to Yu Fan, age 21, 215 Fifth Street, Marietta, for
traveling 81 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Evans stopped Mr.
Fan on US 50 near State Route 7 in Belpre Township.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Travis Loch O’Bryan, age 32, 189 Front Street, Mason,
WV, for .08 breath OVI, failure to reinstate his operator’s
license, speeding and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors.
O’Bryan was arrested on Fourth Street in Marietta by
the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 28 Oct 06 at 2:40 am.
Anthony Lories Thornabar, age 19, 1 Campusview Drive Box 8,
Vienna, for OVI and for driving left of center, both misdemeanors.
Thornabar was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 28 Oct 06 at 3:13 am.
Arthur Eugene Clegg, age 68, 112 Belaire Drive, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Clegg was arrested at
the Wal-Mart parking lot by Deputy Sheriff Morris and processed
into the Washington County Jail on 28 Oct 06 at 3:45 am.
Melissa Catherine Vandale, age 24, 190 Hills Bridge Road,
Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Vandale was arrested at her
residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 28 Oct 06 at 12:50 pm.
Neil Eugene Nutter, age 37, 480 Rummer Road,
Marietta, for menacing by stalking, a felony. Nutter was Picked
up at the
Brook Park Police Department in Cleveland lot by Deputy Sheriff
Underwood and processed into the Washington County Jail on
28 Oct 06 at 1:37 pm.
Nathaniel David Randolph, age 23, 2628 26th Street NW, Canton,
for driving under a suspended license and for speeding, both
misdemeanors. Randolph was arrested on Interstate 77 by the
Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 28 Oct 06 at 6:35 pm.
Jeffrey Allen Adkins, age 34, 200 Martin Road, Reno, for OVI
and for following too closely, both misdemeanors. Adkins was
arrested on Greene Street in Newport by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 28
Oct 06 at 8:15 pm.
Alex Dean Curry, age 44, 554 Curry Road, Waterford, for .08
breath OVI, failure to signal and for operating with an expired
license, all misdemeanors. Curry was arrested on State Route
60 in Beverly by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into
the Washington County Jail on 28 Oct 06 at 11:20 pm.
