On 25 Oct 06 Lloyd R. Peters, age 51, 567 Coal Run Drive, Beverly, reported between 17 and 24 Oct 06 an unknown suspect(s) cut the lock off his storage building and stole a Craftsman lawnmower, a Troy Built weed eater and a toolbox of Craftsman wrenches. This case remains under investigation (232).

On 25 Oct 06 Michalyn N. Blair, age 29, 150 Camelot Drive Lot 14, Belpre, reported sometime during the past week an unknown suspect stole the front license plate off her vehicle. This case remains under investigation (1183).

On 25 Oct 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued a citation to Matthew B. Cornell, age 22, 312 Scott Avenue, Belpre, for driving under an FRA suspended license. Deputy Stackpole stopped Mr. Cornell on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road in Dunham Township.

On 25 Oct 06 Lt. Wilson and Deputy Sheriff Hall investigated an assault stemming from another fight involving two fifteen year old females. The Deputies learned that one of the females was the girlfriend of Nelson L. Zinser, age 19, 140 Wilson Avenue, Newport. Witnesses stated Mr. Zinser aided his girlfriend at one point by striking the other female in the face and hip and that he also choked the girl prior to the fight’s conclusion. As a result, Deputy Hall arrested Mr. Zinser for assault and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Bradley Joseph Bibbee, age 25, 1138 46th Street, Vienna, for OVI, operating with an expired license and for speeding, all misdemeanors. Bibbee was arrested near the intersection of Third and Butler Streets in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 06 at 2:40 am.

Devin Michael Haynes, age 20, 12 Fifth Street, Belpre, for a felony charge of failure to comply with the order/signal of and officer and misdemeanor charges of OVI, reckless operation and not wearing a seat belt. Haynes was arrested on Farson Street in Belpre by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 06 at 4:30 am.

Jason Wayne Allman, age 24, 1044 Murdoch Avenue Apt. 3, Parkersburg, for driving under a suspended license, for having defective exhaust and for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, all misdemeanors. Allman turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 06 at 11:50 am.

Stanley Rupert Smith Jr., age 45, Newport, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Smith was arrested in Marietta Municipal Court by Probation Officer Willson and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 06 at 1:40 pm.

Nelson Lee Zinser Jr., age 19, 140 Wilson Avenue, Newport, for assault, a misdemeanor. Zinser was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Hall and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 06 at 5:15 pm.

Danny Eugene Thomas II, age 27, 106 Buells Circle, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Thomas was arrested on State Route 550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Oct 06 at 5:30 pm.
