On 23 Oct 06 an employee of Belpre Brick,
4962 School House Road, Little Hocking, reported over the weekend
an unknown suspect broke a side window to enter the business
and stole a bank bag containing $700 from a desk drawer in
the business office. This case remains under investigation
(1203).
On 23 Oct 06 Carol C. Bailey, age 45, 16040
State Route 550, Fleming, reported she believes her daughter’s
boyfriend stole three of her checks, forged them for a total
of $500 and cashed them at the 50A Carryout on 14 and 17 Oct
06. This case remains under investigation (1203).
On 23 Oct 06 Althea J. Shumar, age 52, 836
Pike Street Apt. 8, Marietta, reported between 21 and 27 Sep
06 her calling card and/or her home phone line were used to
accumulate over $144 in charges without her permission. This
case remains under investigation (200).
On 23 Oct 06 a twenty-nine year old Belpre
resident reported beginning on 12 Sep 06 an unknown female
began phoning her residence and either yells profanities or
hangs up. This case remains under investigation (1293).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Andrew Cole Pratt, age 20, 1502 Core Road,
Parkersburg, for OVI, driving under a suspended license and
for speeding, all misdemeanors. Pratt was arrested on Interstate
77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 23 Oct 06 at 11:35 am.
Bryan Cody Allberry, age 21, 138 Dawes Circle, Marietta, for
burglary, a felony. Allberry was arrested at his residence
by Patrolman Douglas of the Marietta City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Oct 06
at 11:55 am.
Roger Phillip Loy Jr., age 34, 1004B Grandview Avenue, New
Matamoras, for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Loy turned
himself in to Chief Travaglio of the New Matamoras Police Department
and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 23 Oct
06 at 4:45 pm.
Nicholas John Hileman, age 30, 131 Ward Street, Marietta,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Hileman was arrested on Butler Street
in Marietta by Patrolman Huffman of the Marietta City Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
23 Oct 06 at 6:15 pm.
