On 19 Oct 06 eight Deputies as well as the
Sheriff’s Office Aviation Unit responded to a report
of a forty-four year old Macksburg resident threatening to
harm herself with a gun. Upset over marital problems, the woman
fled into a wooded area where she remained for several hours.
The woman relinquished her weapon and was transported to Marietta
Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
On 19 Oct 06 Sarah Casto, age 29, 7355 Veto
Road, Belpre, reported receiving over twenty unwanted phone
calls from Robert Perdue, age 63, 1202 Hocking Road, Belpre.
At Ms. Casto’s residence Deputy Sheriff Malone listened
as Mr. Perdue phoned again in violation of a temporary protection
order. As a result, Deputy Malone requested a warrant for Mr.
Perdue for violating the terms of a protection order.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Brent Matthew Newlen, age 22, 104 Riley Drive
Apt. 6, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Newlen
was arrested at the Locker Room by Patrolman Ellenwood of the
Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 19 Oct 06 at 1:25 am.
Tara Michelle Rose, age 20, 1406 Perry Drive,
Huntington, WV, for violating the terms of her probation, a
misdemeanor. Rose was arrested at the office of Probation Officer
Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19
Oct 06 at 11:10 am.
Aaron Wesley Cain, age 25, 209 Fifth Street, Beverly, for
disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Cain turned
himself in to Deputy Sheriff Tornes and was processed into
the Washington County Jail on 19 Oct 06 at 1:50 pm.
Betty Jane Davis, age 49, 1207 Wyatt Lane Apt. A, Belpre,
for endangering children, a felony. Davis was arrested at her
residence by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Oct 06
at 3:50 pm.
Charles Monroe Campbell, age 28, 2039 Pleasants Highway, Saint
Marys, for driving under a suspended license and for operating
an unsafe vehicle, both misdemeanors. Campbell was arrested
on Dana’s Run Road by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 19 Oct 06 at 8:20
pm.
Ronald Scott Science Jr., age 20, 205 Gibbons Street Apt.
B, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license and
for operating an unsafe vehicle, both misdemeanors. Science
was arrested on Millers Lane near State Route 7 by the Ohio
State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 19 Oct 06 at 8:20 pm.
Eric William Strahler, age 26, 328 ½ Gilman Avenue,
Marietta, for disorderly conduct by fighting, a misdemeanor.
Strahler was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of
the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 19 Oct 06 at 11:45 pm.
