On 15 Oct 06 Sgt. Underwood and Deputy Sheriff Gherke investigated the report of an intoxicated male in the roadway in the vicinity of 960 McGill Road, Vincent. The officers located the suspect, a sixteen year old, as well as another intoxicated sixteen year old who indicated they were drinking with friends at the aforementioned address. Interviewing others present, the Deputies learned the home’s sixteen year old resident was home alone and his uncle Timothy Cowan, age 35, 920 Lake Road, Belpre, brought two cases of Natural Ice beer then left. Two other sixteen year old males along with the two located outside were issued summonses to appear in Juvenile Court for delinquency by underage consumption of alcohol and released to their parents. Also issued summonses were Mr. Cowan for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and Jessica L. Wallace, age 18, 1117 Stanley Mills Road, Little Hocking, for underage consumption of alcohol.

On 15 Oct 06 Gale A. Lang, age 54, 75 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, reported two roll guards for a John Deere tractor cab were stolen presumably by an unknown male driving a rusty, white Nissan or Toyota truck. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 15 Oct 06 a sixteen year old Cutler resident reported after visiting her twenty-two year old boyfriend and ending their relationship her boyfriend struck her vehicle several times with a wooden stick. This case remains under investigation (200).

On 15 Oct 06 Edwin D. Waggoner, age 47, 18173 State Route 550, Marietta, reported his wife was intoxicated, combative and threatened to cut her own throat. Continuing her recalcitrance, Ruth M. Waggoner, age 40, refused to calm down and repeatedly asked to be taken to jail. Deputy Sheriff Simmons obliged her request, arresting Mrs. Waggoner for disorderly conduct by intoxication.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Eric Richard Ward, age 26, 95 Roberts Drive, Belpre, for OVI, a misdemeanor. Ward was arrested at the intersection on Third and Knox Streets in Marietta by Deputy Sheriff Rhodes and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 06 at 12:10 am.

Jeremy Ray Braun, age 22, 195 Caywood Road, Marietta, for a felony charge of aggravated robbery and a misdemeanor charge of assault. Braun was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 06 at 12:50 am.

Joshua Cleveland Sinkfield, age 34, 1202 County House Lane Apt. H, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Sinkfield was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 06 at 1:25 am.

Charles Barstow Forbes, age 49, 56 Fern Street Apt. 2, Clovelly, for OVI and for failure to yield at a flashing signal, both misdemeanors. Forbes was arrested at the intersection of Third and Putnam Streets in Marietta by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 06 at 2:15 am.

Kimberly Ann Cornute, age 28, 728 Second Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Cornute was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 06 at 2:55 am.

Ashley Danielle Patel, age 21, 106 Terrace Avenue, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Patel was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 06 at 3:10 am.

Ruth Marie Waggoner, age 40, 18173 State Route 550, Marietta, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Waggoner was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 06 at 3:55 am.

Jason Russell Johnston, age 30, 415 Fifth Street, Marietta, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines, a misdemeanor. Johnston was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Blasko of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 15 Oct 06 at 5:00 am.
