On 7 Oct 06 Sgt. Underwood and Deputy Sheriff
Simmons responded to a domestic violence complaint at 1365
Browns Road, Marietta. Witnesses stated they observed Christopher
Ford, age 31, drag his wife Tricia Ford, age 27, by the hair
into their bedroom where they could hear the couple arguing.
They next heard Mrs. Ford scream, at which time they entered
the bedroom to find her unconscious on the floor and bleeding
from the mouth. As a result, Deputy Simmons arrested Mr. Ford
and transported him to the Washington County Jail.
On 7 Oct 06 an employee of Par Mar, 66 Arrowhead
Drive, Little Hocking, reported witnessing a customer leave
the store with a Corona keychain in his pocket. When confronted,
Andrew Hutchins, age 18, 8506 Garfield Street, New Marshfield,
OH, returned the item to the clerk before speeding off in a
vehicle. After speaking to a witness Deputy Sheriff Evans requested
a summons for Mr. Hutchins for theft.
On 7 Oct 06 Darla J. Kemp, age 32, 1934 State
Route 550, Cutler, struck a deer as she traveled westbound
on US 50. Ms. Kemp suffered no injuries; her Jeep Wrangler
sustained disabling damage (1203).
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Joseph Alexander Miles, age 25, 38922 State Route 26, Graysville,
for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid
fines, a misdemeanor. Miles was arrested on Grandview Avenue
in New Matamoras by Chief Travaglio of the New Matamoras Police
Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on
7 Oct 06 at 12:05 am.
Steven Wayne Rush, age 19, 1770 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent,
for OVI, driving under a suspended license and for failure
to control, all misdemeanors. Rush was arrested on State Route
550 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the
Washington County Jail on 7 Oct 06 at 8:59 am.
Chad Anthony Burdette, age 24, 131 Clark Street, Marietta,
for two misdemeanor counts of domestic violence. Burdette was
arrested at his residence by Patrolman Nedeff of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 7 Oct 06 at 1:50 pm.
