On 5 Oct 06 Homer L. Wilson, age 72, 553 Fifth Street, Parkersburg, reported sometime since 20 Sep 06 an unknown suspect(s) cut the lock off his storage building at 508 Carson Lane, Little Hocking and stole a 1993 Toyota Celica. This case remains under investigation (695).

On 5 Oct 06 Grace C. Carne, age 82, 120 Back Road, Macksburg, reported between 4:30 and 5 pm on 3 Oct 06 her purse containing nearly $150, her checkbook and three rings was stolen from her vehicle. This case remains under investigation (1091).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Gary Curtis Blair, age 29, 635 Sandhill Road, Marietta, a fugitive from justice. Blair was arrested on Second Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 06 at 1:01 am.

Dana Britton Curry, age 34, 1005 State Route 555, Little Hocking, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Curry turned himself in to Lt. Coppernoll and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 06 at 8:45 am.

Shun Wendell Franklin, age 37, Marietta, for a felony charge of failure to register a change of address as a sex offender and for a misdemeanor charge of falsification. Franklin turned himself in to Deputy Sheriff Tornes and was processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 06 at 12:15 pm.

Melissa Dawn Cornell, age 26, 124 Dean Street, Marietta, for assault, a misdemeanor. Cornell was arrested at her residence by Patrolman Hively of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 06 at 1:00 pm.

Jonas Wyatt Miller, age 23, 76 Hazelwood Road, Marietta, for burglary, breaking and entering, automobile theft, safecracking, receiving stolen property and for engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity, all felonies. Miller was picked up at the Noble Correctional Institution by Lt. Coppernoll and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Oct 06 at 2:50 pm.
