On 4 Oct 06 a twenty-six year old Waterford
resident reported her seventeen year old nephew, of whom she
has custody, continually curses at her, is disrespectful and
habitually unruly. The complainant declined to pursue the matter
further (296).
On 4 Oct 06 Lt. Canavan and Deputy Sheriff
Day responded the scene of a domestic dispute at 416 Arnold
Road, Lowell. The Deputies learned Jeremy L. Davis, age 24,
and his brother Justin, age 24, were arguing over trivial,
childish matters and a brawl erupted. During the fracas Justin
retrieved a metal broomstick and struck his brother in elbow.
The twins’ mother separated the two and ordered Jeremy
to call law enforcement. At the mention of this Justin retreated
to the kitchen and began throwing kitchen knives toward his
brother. Since Jeremy left the scene prior to their arrival,
Lt. Canavan requested a warrant for him for domestic violence.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrants:
Andrew Mayle, age 33, Route 2 Box 372, Grafton,
WV, for contempt for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing
on an order to show cause on 2 Oct 06.
Shun W. Franklin, age 37, 208 Wooster Street, Marietta, for
failing to register as a sex offender and for falsification.
Daniel J. Seaton, age 52, 4347 S. Xenophon Avenue, Tulsa,
OK, for failing to complete a seventy-two hour Driver’s
Intervention or to serve three days in jail as ordered by the
court.
Rodney E. White, age 57, 2553 State Route 266, Stockport,
for passing a bad check for $65 to Sponey’s IGA on 15
Feb 06.
Jeffrey S. Wittekind, age 18, 316 Gilman Street, Marietta,
for operating a vehicle without license plates and for operating
a vehicle without a license on 25 Sep 06.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Kenneth Eugene Wriston Jr., age 31, 306 Putnam
Avenue, Marietta, for failure to appear, a misdemeanor. Wriston
was arrested at his residence by Sgt. Hiatt of the Washington
County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington
County Jail on 4 Oct 06 at 11:40 am.
Jon Charles Preston, age 45, 836 Pike Street Apt. 17, Marietta,
for theft and criminal trespassing, both misdemeanors. Preston
was arrested at his residence by Detective Nohe of the Marietta
City Police Department and processed into the Washington County
Jail on 4 Oct 06 at 4:22 pm.
