On 27 Sep 06 Susan L. Vanfossen, age 47, 2722 Beach Drive, Belpre, reported since last observing the license plate on her son’s Dodge truck around the first of July the license plate, Ohio number DQG4573, has since been lost or stolen. This case remains under investigation (296).

On 27 Sep 06 Lee Ann Ward, age 34, 220 Greene Street, Newport, reported a Huffy eighteen speed mountain bicycle and a Mongoose adult bicycle were stolen from an unlocked storage shed in her back yard. This case remains under investigation (1082).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Daniel Dwaine Gaughan, age 40, 106 Fourth Street, Beverly, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Gaughan was arrested at the Four Seasons in Marietta by Patrolman Wenzel of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Sep 06 at 1:45 am.

Michael James Berquist, age 19, 101 Saratoga Drive, McMurray, PA, for two felony charges of assault and for misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest, underage consumption of alcohol and disorderly conduct by intoxication. Berquist was arrested at Marietta College by Officer Ruth of the Marietta College Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Sep 06 at 7:15 am.

Scott Ray Fitch, age 45, 104 Faye Street, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Fitch was arrested at the office of Probation Officer Hamilton and processed into the Washington County Jail on 27 Sep 06 at 8:35 am.
