On 25 Sep 06 Deputy Sheriff Summers requested a warrant for Crystal D. Seevers, age 22, Marietta, for failure to register a change of address as a registered sex offender.

On 25 Sep 06 Sgt. Hiatt issued a citation to Daniel L. Hart, age 18, 108 Buells Circle, Marietta, for traveling 51 mph in a 35 mph zone. Sgt. Hiatt stopped Mr. Hart on Gilman Avenue in Marietta.

On 25 Sep 06 Deputy Sheriff Stackpole issued a citation to Matthew D. Mittell, age 20, 129 Rockingham Lane, McMurray, PA, for traveling 79 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Stackpole stopped Mr. Mittell on State Route 7 near Briggs Hill Road in Belpre Township.

On 25 Sep 06 an employee of Miller Cable Company, 210 South Broadway, Green Springs, OH, reported over the weekend a yellow New Holland backhoe, valued at over $40,000, was stolen from a worksite on westbound US 50 in Belpre. This case remains under investigation (1020).

On 25 Sep 06 a forty-five year old Belpre resident reported finding in her thirteen year old son’s backpack, plastic packaging that contained 140 pills of her prescription muscle relaxing and anti-inflammatory medication. Questioned by his mother about the pills, the juvenile replied he was going to take them to school because he was going to be a drug dealer. This case remains under investigation (1020).

On 25 Sep 06 Deputy Sheriff Mankins investigated the report of an intoxicated female stumbling along the road in the vicinity of 1210 Burnett Road. Arriving in the area, Deputy Mankins found Sharon R. Alleman, age 48, 618 Redbird Lane, Gastonia, NC, lying on the ground in the woods. Ms. Alleman had a strong odor of mouthwash, slurred her words as she spoke and fell down as she walked toward Deputy Mankins’ cruiser. For Ms. Alleman’s safety she was arrested for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On 25 Sep 06 Lt. Coppernoll issued a citation to Audie L. Meaux, age 54, 1001 Colonial Drive Apt. C3, Marietta, for operating with an expired license. Lt. Coppernoll stopped Mr. Meaux at the intersection of Pike and Seventh Streets in Marietta.

On 25 Sep 06 Lt. Coppernoll issued a citation to Jeffrey S. Wittekind, age 18, 316 Gilman Avenue, Marietta, for operating a motorcycle without a motorcycle endorsement and for not having license plates. Lt. Coppernoll stopped Mr. Wittekind at the intersection of County House Lane and State Route 7 in Marietta .

Lou A. Champ, age 39, 150 Camelot Road Lot 6, Belpre, for driving under a suspended license on 6 Aug 06.

Loretta McElroy, PO Box 173, Salem, WV, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.

Catherine McGuire, PO Box 302, Ellenboro, WV, for failing to appear for a Debtor’s Exam.

Larry D. Pinkerman, age 23, 800 Blue Run Township Road, Lucasville, OH, for failing to appear to serve sixty days in jail on 1 Jun 06.

Gary A. McQuaide, age 39, 1305 Beechwood Drive, Lancaster, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 18 Sep 06.

Kenneth E. Wriston Jr., age 31, 306 Putnam Avenue, Marietta, for contempt for failing to appear at a court ordered hearing on an order to show cause on 11 Sep 06.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

James Oscar Long, age 28, 710 Montgomery Street, Marietta, for assault and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors. Long was arrested at his residence by Patrolman Sury of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Sep 06 at 2:35 pm.

Mark Aaron McIntyre, age 24, 223 Broughton Avenue, Marietta, for receiving stolen property, a felony. McIntyre was picked up at the Corrections Reception Center by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Sep 06 at 4:40 pm.

William Chase Paxton, age 19, 516 Main Street, Pleasant City, OH, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Paxton was arrested on State Route 7 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Sep 06 at 7:05 pm.

Sharon Renee Alleman, age 48, 618 Redbird Lane, Gastonia, NC, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Alleman was arrested on Burnett Road by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 25 Sep 06 at 10:06 pm.
