On 22 Sep 06 at 3:53 am Deputy Sheriff Evans
encountered a male subject walking along Muskingum River Road
and stopped to question him. The subject identified himself
as Jeremiah Campbell but claimed he could not remember his
date of birth or social security number. Along with the suspect
Deputy Evans drove to Mr. Campbell’s intended destination
and spoke with Mr. Campbell’s girlfriend. She identified
the individual as Joshua Campbell, age 23, 3635 Bear Creek
Road, Lowell. Learning then that Mr. Campbell had three active
warrants, Deputy Evans began to search him prior to arresting
him when Mr. Campbell absconded. Deputy Evans caught up to
Mr. Campbell, deployed his Taser to gain compliance and took
him into custody. Charged with obstructing official business
and escape, Mr. Campbell was transported to the Washington
County Jail.
the Sheriff’s
Office received the following warrant:
Kenneth L. Burns, age 33, 1 Worthington Lane,
Parkersburg, for violating the terms of his probation by failing
to appear for a scheduled appointment, for failing to show
proof of completing a certified driver intervention program
and an assessment or counseling.
The following individuals
were processed into the Washington County Jail:
Joshua Allen Campbell, age 23, 3635 Bear Creek
Road, Lowell, for felony charges of violating the terms of
his probation, escape and breach of recognizance and misdemeanor
charges of OVI, driving under a suspended license and obstructing
official business. Campbell was arrested in Lowell by Deputy
Sheriff Evans and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 22 Sep 06 at 6:05 am.
John Aaron Givens, age 25, 100B Linwood Avenue,
Marietta, for attempted burglary, breaking and entering and
for possession of drugs, all felonies. Givens was picked up
at the Warren Correctional Institution by Lt. Coppernoll by
Lt. Coppernoll and processed into the Washington County Jail
on 22 Sep 06 at 4:15 pm.
Angelo Miguel Santos, age 35, Lima, for illegally using a
minor in nudity and for complicity in pandering obscenity involving
a minor, both misdemeanors. Santos was picked up at the Allen
Correctional Institution by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and
processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Sep 06 at 7:15
pm.
Todd Everett Dickson, age 41, 15 Highland Ridge Road, Marietta,
for domestic violence, a misdemeanor. Dickson was arrested
in Belpre by Patrolman Williams of the Belpre City Police Department
and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Sep 06
at 10:00 pm.
Gary Lynn Leach, age 53, 325 Main Street, Lower Salem, for
OVI, driving under an OVI suspended license, for not wearing
a seat belt and for driving left of center, all misdemeanors.
Leach was arrested on State Route 145 by the Ohio State Highway
Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22
Sep 06 at 11:00 pm.
