On 20 Sep 06 the assistant principal of Fort Frye High School, after receiving a tip from a teacher, reported finding a sixteen year old student in possession of marijuana. This case remains under investigation (200).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

David Wayne Wriston, age 22, 687 Wynncrest Drive, Marietta, for driving under an FRA suspended license and for having fictitious plates, both misdemeanors. Wriston was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Sep 06 at 2:00 am.

Jeremiah Allen Jeffers, age 22, 670 Lang Farm Road, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Jeffers was arrested on Front Street in Marietta by Patrolman McCracken of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Sep 06 at 2:20 am.

Shawn Allen Mayle, age 23, 16907 Sharpsburg Road, Sharpsburg, for failure to appear at a court ordered hearing on unpaid fines and for failure to appear, both misdemeanors. Mayle was picked up at the Morgan County line by Deputy Sheriff O’Brien and processed into the Washington County Jail on 20 Sep 06 at 2:00 pm.
