On 16 Sep 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a citation to James S. Goodnow, age 35, 309 West Fifth Street, Williamstown, for traveling 74 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Goodnow near milepost fourteen on State Route 339 in Watertown Township.

On 16 Sep 06 Deputy Sheriff Morris issued a citation to John R. Paese, age 56, 1006 Paradrome, Cincinnati, for traveling 73 mph in a 55 mph zone. Deputy Morris stopped Mr. Paese near Lockhart Street on State Route 339 in Belpre Township.

On 16 Sep 06 Lt. Wilson and Deputy Sheriffs Stackpole and Reynolds arrived at 416 Arnold Road, Lowell, to hear Jared B. Davis, age 24, screaming at his mother Shelia Davis, age 56. Ms. Davis detailed damage to her home caused by her son, specifically that he tore a door off its hinges, knocked over and broke a dresser and removed items from the refrigerator and threw them all over the kitchen and yard. Citing the damage Mr. Davis caused along with apparent state of inebriety, Deputy Reynolds arrested him for disorderly conduct by intoxication and transported him to the Washington County Jail.

On 16 Sep 06 Deputy Sheriff Malone requested a summons for Henry Antill, age 32, 5199 Warren Chapel Road, Marietta, for wanton operation of a motor vehicle. Mr. Antill is accused of driving his truck through a neighbor’s yard in figure eight and circular patterns on 12 Jun 06.

On 16 Sep 06 Christine Baker, age 25, 280 Indian Run Road, Marietta, reported when a friend picked her up at Sierra Apartments she was assaulted by a female without apparent provocation. This case remains under investigation (953).

On 16 Sep 06 Scott King, age 38, 512 Zanesville Street, Beverly, reported a children’s Honda dirt bike, valued at $1,100, was stolen from his garage between 3:30 pm and 8:30 pm that day. This case remains under investigation (953).

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail:

Renee K. Bartel, age 36, 17328 Fetzer Drive, Strongsville, OH, for a felony charge of OVI and a misdemeanor charge of consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. Bartel was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Travaglio of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 06 at 1:50 am.

Jared Bailey Davis, age 24, 416 Arnold Road, Lowell, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Davis was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Reynolds and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 06 at 2:30 am.

Tony Leigh Zumbro, age 32, 182 ½ West Main Street, McConnelsville, for OVI and for failure to control, both misdemeanors. Zumbro was arrested on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 06 at 2:50 am.

Chad Eric Bailey, age 26, 1209 Cisler Drive Apt. C, Marietta, for failure to comply with the order/signal of an officer, a felony. Bailey was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Hickey of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 06 at 3:10 am.

Thomas William Gaughan, age 20, 115 Dudley Avenue, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license, a misdemeanor. Gaughan was arrested on State Route 676 by Deputy Sheriff Mankins and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 06 at 4:09 am.

Graeme Sean Dennis, age 20, 1593 Maple Road, Cleveland Heights, OH, for underage possession of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Dennis was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 06 at 5:45 am.

Kyle Ramos Wilson, age 18, 3146 Meadowbrook Road, Cleveland Heights, OH, for being in physical control of a vehicle while being under the influence of alcohol, a misdemeanor. Wilson was arrested on Interstate 77 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 06 at 5:45 am.

Scott Lee Carpenter, age 44, Greene Street, Marietta, for a felony and a misdemeanor charge of domestic violence. Carpenter was arrested in Marietta by Patrolman Chapman of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 16 Sep 06 at 9:30 pm.
