On 5 Sep 06 Richard G. Ferguson, age 53, 12865 State Route 676, Watertown, reported a Huffy Blazer mountain bike he customized with extended handlebars was stolen from his yard sometime after 6 pm the previous evening. This case remains under investigation (597).

On 5 Sep 06 an employee of Trans Ash, a company that is transporting heavy equipment across Clark Hill Road in Waterford, reported several road closed signs and flashing lights were stolen from the worksite over the weekend. This case remains under investigation (792).

On 5 Sep 06 Sgt. Gherke was dispatched to the scene of death of an eighty-two year old Marietta resident. The woman’s death appears natural; no foul play is suspected.

On 5 Sep 06 Jill Gerken, age 39, 1170 Whipple Run Road, Whipple, reported when she returned home from physical therapy on 15 and on 31 Aug, newly refilled prescriptions for Vicodin were stolen on each occasion. This case remains under investigation (1190).

The following individual wAS processed into the Washington County Jail:

Timothy Allen Beard, age 24, 2628 Gilbert Avenue NE, Canton, for violating the terms of his parole, a felony. Beard was arrested in New Matamoras by Chief Travaglio of the New Matamoras Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 5 Sep 06 at 8:05 pm.
